This is good for short range, but if you need to fill a big house you may need multiple.

I had a nighthawk router that worked pretty well but had trouble getting WiFi throughout the house. Tried this and when it worked it was awesome. I was getting full speed in areas I was getting none before. However, I had to reset it two to three times a day as my internet just would quit working. I ditched it for the Orbi which is working flawlessly.

This was a very good router and mesh at the time. I would have highly recommended it back then if it's still there today it's still worth the money.

Seamless coverage with my NightHawk Router. I set up as an accesspoint connected to ethernet for backhaul and covers my top floor and parts of my first floor while my router covers basement and rest of first floor.

Stopped connecting after 6 months. Netgear support is absolutely worthless as you only get sorry for 90 days despite the warranty being one year. Do yourself a favor and purchase a mesh system that you can actually get support of you have issues

I’ll start off by saying that I am extremely tech savvy. I bought this extender to expand the coverage in a 4000 square foot home. I currently have a nighthawk r7000 that is connected in the garage. This extender worked great until about the end of the day of each day I had to reboot cause I was not getting internet connections on my devices. They really need to look into what the issues are. Cause the fastlane 3 they patented is not working as advertise. If you want a device that will not hold a connection for longer than a day then this is for you. Will be returning in hopes that I find something that will work.

The Tri band WiFi Range Extender is working just fine. It’s good, but it does not extend long enough range.

If you are having issues with your WIFI specially with outside RIng cameras, BUY THIS Mesh, it will keep you network under one name and it will not slow down your speed as a regular wifi extender

I couldn't get any WiFi downstairs, not ideal considering I also have a garage door that hooks up to WiFi. I installed the Nighthawk Mesh and now have no issues downstairs OR outside.

Have some difficulty with setting up. As well as connection loses

I couldn’t set this up my self, but the person at store helped me find the right one for my house. And the geek squad came and set it up no problem.

Was in need of a way to extend our internet signal from one condo to another and a Best Buy employee suggested the Netgear Nighthawk. The installation was quick and simple. We now have a strong signal! Highly recommend

I bought this extender because I had really poor wifi in our downstairs area. This mesh extender has address all the connectivity issues in my family room and downstairs bedrooms!

I wasn't sure how this would work connecting my PS4 but after seeing my download speeds go from 12mbps to 100mbps I was floored! A must buy!

Bigger house may need this. Set up is easy and step by step.

Garbage. Was of use is zero stars but I had to put one. Net gear has no online presence and doesn’t allow you to go into settings. You buy this device and just hope it never messes up.

Relay beast very compatible with midrange netgear routers I would recommend it more than the newer ones just cause it won't give u much headaches pairing.

There was a noticeable difference in the connection upstairs, but Not so much on the basement

I had a old netgear nighthawk extender and it wasn't keeping up with all the wifi connections. So I decided to get this. I have everything connected and it isn't droping any thing now.

The hardware works great and does what it says it does. However, the app is awful and rarely works. If you purchase, set up using the alternate method then use the app when you have to. You’re better off doing a hard reset when you have issues. Skip the app except when they force you to use it.
