Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.all lights lit up but when I would go to websites, my computer and phone would just freeze. when I turn off the netgear, all websites pulled up perfect, reconnect to netgear, freeze again... and the cycle continues. 3 hours on the phone with netgear tech support. I am taking it back tomorrow.

So my back up solution was this extender which has not resolved the problems. Tried relocating it in several areas, but to no avail. While it is possible to run a CAT cable to the second floor,it would ruin the aesthetics of our decor. May be that the walls and too many structures blocking the signal strength.
