A great router for gamers, easy to setup, while giving you many options to optimize for gameplay. The UI is the best I've used on a router and overall performance is great.

I was skeptical at first of how impactful this upgrade would have on improving my home wifi system. This product far exceeded my expectations, and has a simple interface to control.

I've been using this router for about a month and it works great. Good signal and speeds all around the house. Set up is easy you get a lot of personalization with Duma.

Great for streaming and gaming. Connection is strong and the range is great. It will cover your 2500sqft home with ease.

So far haven't had to reset once. 10+ devices connected with zero speed loss on Cox gigablast internet. Great range on 2.4ghz, amazing speed on 5ghz.

On a positive note, I did get a reliable connection with very good range and speeds. Unfortunately, the only way I could achieve this performance was by switching off QOS and the Hybrid VPN. QOS seems to work for some people, but I never tracked down the bug that halved my total bandwidth. Other people reported this problem. Hybrid VPN would be a REALLY useful feature if the router had more processing power to handle encryption. According to the guys who developed DumaOS, 20-30mbps is max speed through VPN due to the weak processor on the router (I pay for 200mbps, and the desktop VPN client gives me full speed). The purpose of setting up VPN on your router is to manage VPN settings for multiple devices in 1 place. The 20mbps bottleneck is totally unusable for streaming/torrenting across multiple devices, which essentially breaks the entire feature. DumaOS does have a great interface, and I imagine future Duma routers won't have these problems, but spending $250 to have features that only work "off" is dumb. Netgear sells 3 band routers for less.

Does what it has to do, I like the function of Duma OS & GEO Filter. It's worth the money and helped me improve the performance in online gaming.

My speed has improved with router on wifi throughout my entire home and halfway outside my property line. Very easy to setup plug and play

I love netgear routers for gaming. This router specifically I’ve had several issues with on turtle necking my speeds. Even done factory resets to change the settings I changed to see if anything would change.

So normally I don’t hop on the bandwagon with the sales pitch or the videos but after buying this router all of the cool little bells and whistle‘s that it comes with are really valuable and important if you really enjoy playing video games as a hobby. It’s definitely worth the price if you were going to use all of the features on this router but if you’re just buying it to be a standard upgrade you might want to look in other places just because of the cost alone.

I’ve had this router for a few weeks now and it’s awesome, it’s fast and has great range. I work from home and it hasn’t let me down.

Was a great router, but it went out due to power surge

The router is great and very easy to setup. It has been giving me that edge that I was looking for while playing.

If you're tech savvy and into networking, there are other options at lower cost. But for most folks this router is excellent. Gives a good view of connected devices and bandwidth used per device, allows QOS management and you can quickly see the effects of configuration changes. With 3 Xboxes, Smart Home equipment, and a family each w/multiple mobile devices, equipment like this router are very helpful in managing resources.

Need a router that could handle the size of my house this one is great and the boys can play their games very easily.

It gets the job done with 1 pc, console, streaming Netflix 4K and 4 people on WiFi using their phones.

Great for no lag gaming, signal picks up even all the way to the back of my yard.
