This router is awesome and the set up was really easy to walk through. I get quick speeds for gaming on my playstation.

My prior Router was a Netgear 8500 Tri-Band, loved it. This one is ok , the IOS app is kind of a pain to me have to be careful not to reset and start over. I enjoy Netgear products due to the ease of set-up , this one is ok but needed to research a few items to turn on or off. Would I buy again yes but would go Tri-Band. I'm not a pro and this is my opinion.

Absolutely love this router! It’s easy to setup and you can adjust the amount of Internet that each device can get.

I’ve seen the great reviews for this router, but personally, I didn’t see a real improvement. Certainly nothing worth paying $300. I bought the router to replace my standard, internet provider furnished router. I wanted to like the router and would gladly pay the money for a better wireless gaming experience. But I can’t say I saw enough improvement to warrant the price tag on this one.

Router was easy to setup and good speed and range. Router software is ok but not great.

I use AT&T fiber and was having issues with multiple consoles online concurrently. After many attempts to setup firewalls and other methods nothing worked fully. This router has successfully been able to operate in a way that allows all 3 consoles to be online together without a strict NAT type on any of them. It has good speed enhancements and a better app. This is definitely a solid choice for gaming routers.

I had repeat issues with my huge ping spikes when my roommate would start streaming something on Netflix or Amazon. I narrowed this down to bufferbloat issues on my old router. The Netgear has significantly detailed enough QoS (Quality of Service) settings for me to limit his devices bandwidth to prevent them from saturating my connection or local network at any point. It appears to have solved all my issues.

Very easy to plug and play if you don't want to change a whole lot of settings, but for those that are obviously buying this for gaming, there are so many settings to mess around with. If you get to a section that you think is complicated, youtube it. I did and it made a world of difference. There is a very in depth tutorial on youtube on what to change and how to change it. Once you get it set just right, it does everything you could want and more.

No issues, easy installation and strong signal. Family of four with mobile devices and gaming.

Yes this router will crush your wallet but man is it pretty amazing. The web based OS let's me distribute bandwidth through out my home network as I see fit. What does that mean? It means daddy never has lag, latency, or buffering on my 4K streams. Everyone else in the house might, but I didn't buy this for the family. I bought it for me. Unlimited power!!!!

Stood the router up and was able to login to the router's homepage easily and configure the settings I wanted along with adding a WAP for guests. Great value and easy enough for novices to adjust the different configurations. Was able to adjust the gaming server settings to search only west coast servers and while it takes longer to join, it has resulted in better fps on our consoles and pc's.

Definately worth the price. It improved my wifi speed. Great settings for gaming.

I personally like this router and its features. I am connected to this router via wireless and it gives me a steady 200 mbps which is what I am getting from my provider. I would recommend this product if you have the money spare. I have not tried the geo filter yet but the ability to only play on servers within the zone you choose is a very nice feature.
