I bought this at the recommendation of the salesman to replace a belkin. This thing is dynamite. Great range throughout the house. Multiple devices at once and cannot tell a decrease in speed. Can stream videos and xbox 360 games live on line. Great great buy! Highly recommended.

This router is pricey but its worth it if you plan to have wifi being used on multiple floors of a multifloor house. We were able to put this in the drop ceiling in our basement and have wifi on all 3 floors of the house (strong signal not weak anywhere in the house)

We have been using this router for approximately 3 months now. The signal strength and speed are very impressive. I purchased a second Nighthawk router for my parents. The fact that they have not called me once for "tech support" is another testament to how well it works.

This is my second time purchasing this particular router and the new software that comes with this makes it very easy to set up and control after you have completed. Range is decent, but not amazing. I live in a 1400 sq. Ft ranch and this works through most of the house just fine, with the caveat of 5g, but that spectrum has a lower effective range anyway. It boosted my speeds on 2.4 improved significantly over the standard modem/WiFi router from the cable company. Overall, I would recommend this as a reasonably priced router with decent range.

I have a large distance from modem/router to home theatre and needed better signal strength as movie streaming was rebuffering. This was easy to install, runs all home theatre items, tv, blu ray and av receiver without any bandwidth problems. Another fine Netgear product.

Now that almost everything is wifi based in our house. Our wifi has dragged for years. We had one of those stupid modem and router setups from the cable company and those are the worst setups you can have. It was super old, as we have had it for prob more the 5 years and it had a really low speed capacity. Although, every time we complained they would bump us to a "higher" connection speed and charge us more bc clearly we didn't understand at the time that we still weren't getting the performance that we were paying for because of the limitations of the box. But we finally got up on game. This has been one of the better purchases this year. We found this and disconnected the wifi portion of the dual box from the cable company. Now we only use their box as the modem. BEST MOVE EVER! No more buffering, no more lagging, no more stuttering, no more switching off the wifi on our iPhones, iPads, laptops, and no more cursing out the wifi, and throwing adult fits about how horrible the connection is. We can add so many more wifi enabled items to our home without worrying about slow connections, or the wheel of death on our laptops or phones. Such a great feeling. It is large but still visually pleasing and the lights light up white if you care about that sort of thing. We hide all of our stuff so it won't be seen but if we couldn't it wouldn't be that hideous sitting out somewhere minus the three antenna. Easy setup and worked right away, once we learned how to turn off the wifi portion of our previous dual setup. Call your cable/wifi company if you need help. It's been over a month now and we still are extremely happy with this purchase. Highly recommend it.

This router has worked beautifully so far. It has been totally reliable after a router that needed to be reset sometimes multiple times per day. Great coverage and signal strength, and the app is very helpful in configuring and managing it.

Replaced my aging linksys router. The consistency of performance has increased, the distance from router with good service has grown and the reliability of the connection is better. I can't say its a panacea for our household (still "quiet zones" in the house), but it is definitely a step up!

Super fast router but the best part is the extended coverage it gives for a large building. I installed the app on my phone to test wifi strength and walked all over the building and wifi strength was much stronger than the Linksys AC1900 that went kaput on me.

In a way, I love this router. It is a lot stronger than my older Netgear 6300 or Linksys E4200. When I first set it up, I got 90% signal in one section of the house (the older system gave me 60%) and another section got 80%. Things was going great, but for some reason, every few days, I noticed that the signal weakened considerably, dropping down to 18% and 5%. The only way to restore the signal was by rebooting the router and reconfiguring my devices. I see that some other owners were having the same issues. The thing is, I bought this router so I could stream videos and music from my cloud drive throughout the house. When it is working, it is great, I can tell when the signal drops because the videos start stuttering. So far, I had the router for about six weeks and had to reset everything twice.

I purchased the Nighthawk to increase the speed and distance of my Wi Fi network. I now have 100% signal strength on all my devices with increased speed and coverage. It is easy for first time network setup, but does require configuration changes for existing networks.

I finally decided to bury my trusty old DIR-655 because of dead spots in parts of the house. Although I don't have any .11ac devices, I get a stronger signal throughout the house with the NETGEAR Nighthawk. This is probably due, in large part, to the dual-band capability. The setup software and GUI from NETGEAR are much easier to use and understand than D-Link's, especially for someone who doesn't have much understanding of router setup. NETGEAR also provides a free utility for mobile devices like smartphones which let you measure the signal strength in different locations throughout the house. I considered less expensive .11ac routers that probably work just as well but went with NETGEAR and I'm happy with my decision.

I had been experiencing terribly slow internet service at home. I have been using a 802.11g router for a really long time and it is just no longer able to support a dozen devices. Download speed was snail like. That is no longer the case. This new router was averaging 100 mb/s download speeds and everything is working nicely. I live in a 1200 sq foot condo with two floors. I have several video game systems, two laptops, kindles, and smartphones hooked up. It was easy to set up using the app that you can download. I am very happy with the purchase.

We have a two story house with a downstairs add on room with an Apple TV; also have 10 devices using wireless (plus any visitors). I needed a router powerful enough to service our needs throughout the house and this worked perfectly. Also, super easy to set up.

It replaced a string of cheaper routers that seem to be unable to hold a connection to the 8 or 10 devices running in my house. This router never seems to miss a beat. It has delivered solid performance and user-friendly configuration. I couldn't be happier.

I have some dead spots at my house due to distance and walls. I've tried a few different wireless routers, even an extender, but lacked good results. This unit was fairly easy to get up and working and solved the issue with dead spots. I'm very happy with it.

I was intending to buy the linksys ac1750 but saw this one instead, the price was a little over $200.00 but had a coupon that knocked the price to $185.00 plus I was getting an ac1900 instead. Happy with my purchase, I noticed a real difference with my smart tv.
