I've struggled with those inexpensive routers, having to reboot maybe one a week, poor signal, etc. My primary use is for streaming video netflix, iTunes. In fact I've streamed video to two different TVs at the same time. Worth every penny I spent.

I am very impressed with the range and ease of installation. I ended up not needing my net extender because even without the extender the signal is coming in ultra strong. My multi level house has nooks and crannies that are hard to get a signal to. With the Nighthawk this is no longer a problem. I read the PC magazine comparison report and was impressed with what I read. Also the reviews on the Best Buy site were echoing what the comparison stated. This hub took my download speeds from 30 megabytes per sec to 70. All I changed was the router.

I recently upgraded my internet service with much faster internet speeds. I had the router provided by the cable company and it had problems with the faster internet speeds. Therefore, I did some research and this router was recommended. I have a three bedroom house and this is great for that size. We also have roughly ten or so devices hooked up to the router at a given time. We have had no problems and internet works great. I would recommend this router. It is also much better than using the rented equipment.

My old Rosewill router started to reboot by itself when more than one devices using it. I decided to buy this one instead of the Asus RT-AC68R because its faster dual-core CPU and at least $20 cheaper (BestBuy price-matched Amazon's price when it was on-sale in Amazon so I saved more $$). Some tech reviewers I read, stated that the Asus RT-AC68R had a better range/signal during their test but not much I think (I will need to be quite far, outside of my home perimeter to tell the difference). I won't have the router to be very far away from all of my devices but I do need a reliable good/strong connection. My devices get a better strong signal strength compared to using my old cheap Rosewill router. With the new 5GHz WiFi connection, I don't have the 2.4GHz WiFi crowd/interference anymore with my neighbors' signals. The 2.4GHz WiFi is getting too crowded around my area. This router so far performs well, and it has a good security feature, its router configuration interface/menu is okay but it can be better improved, not a big issue, as long as I can find/set what I need to change, and as long as it works. It has a 3.0 USB interface where I can plug-in an external hard-drive or thumb drive to be shared among devices. Overall, it's worth the upgrade. It seems to be good for media streaming as well. This device is still new for me. Hopefully it will last for quite some time.

I was having issues with my Netgear N900 router and thought I would start looking at replacement options when I came across the AC1900. Have been greatly impressed by the performance and surprised on the range of the second band. Before I could get the 1st to reach my bedroom but now both reach without a problem. I have been having some issues with the 2.4Ghz band but it still goes fairly quick. Also got it for a great deal, so thought it was a no brainer :). Would recommend for anyone moving from Wireless N and prior.

I was surprised at the ease of setup and coverage provided by this router. I haven't installed a consumer router in some time and Netgear has made it so easy to get things setup and running that it's foolproof now!

I now have decent WiFi in my home with not dead spots. The setup was a little confusing had to get tech support from netgear. After they got me up and running I have no complains. I am really happy with the speed.

This router offers great range and easy setup. Printer Wizard alone is well worth the money. I spent hours trying to connedt an HP printer before using the Router Printer Wizard. It was connected within 3 minutes.

Connected this to my new modem this is on 2nd floor all wireless devices on all 3 floors getting over 35-40mbps, wired xbox getting 87mbps no lag on streaming hd content. No AC reviews unfortunately none of my devices are capable

Good Wi-Fi router that will handle the speed it is rated for. The only draw back is that the instructions/set-up tutorial, or lack of one, is very poor. Nowhere was it explained how to set up and differentiate between the 2.5 GHZ & the 5 GHZ signal. I found out, by accident, that you can choose a hybrid mode. Nowhere was it explained that you could re name your personal wi-fi network and set your own password. Again, I found this out in my own, accidently. And it is a real bunch of baloney that Netgear, as well as other electronic companies, will only provide FREE customer service for a whole 90 days, after purchase. They must not be very interested in earning your repeat business. How about support for the life of the product??!! This is a problem with MOST electronic companies.

Awesome, just buy it. Its worth every penny. Super fast wifi from great distances. Reliable, I have been up and running with no drops and reconnects for 30+ days. Save yourself money and frustration just drop the dime the first time.

This router was a little more expensive than the base routers but with 4 smart phones, 3 tablets and two gaming systems running on wifi it has proven its worth. 3000 sq foot home and I have the router upstairs. Strong wifi everywhere and in the whole yard.

This has worked well since the beginning, excellent! Easy to setup, so far very reliable, hoping it continues. Using with 1gb ether and smart home stuff as well as plenty of streaming and games. No issues.

Best router I have ever owned. Rather large in size but covers entire 2000sq split-level home (with 4 levels) without problems. No dead zones at all. LOVE the fact that I can disable LED lights although 1 light cannot be disabled. Setup is very easy - no need to really do much for basic operations but for advanced users it offers a lot of features. Would definitely buy again

Works great I have it upstairs in the master bedroom closet and I still have full coverage through the house and yard. My oldest daughter is able to stream movies on the wifi with no loading issues as well

Purchased for my new home. Covers all 3200 sq ft with ease. Strong signal everywhere in the home. Setup was a breeze, plug in and press power, done. Will recommend to others.

This router has really improved my WiFi speed around the house. Am an avid gamer, had lots of connection issues previously and in a month since purchasing the router have had none. Extremely recommended.

When I purchase the router prior to this one. I asked the CSR to recommend to me the best and most powerful router they sold. He just pointed to the most expensive one on the shelf. I bought it installed it and after having it for a week and having to reset it every 3-4 hrs per day I called charter then Linksys and did some diagnostics to figure out the problem. For once charter said it was the router and they were right. I returned and purchased the night hawk. I've had it now for approx 3 weeks and I have not had to reset even once. Plus the strength of the signal covers mg entire 4200 sq ft house with 3 bars or more of signal strength. I recommend this router to anyone who has a business or just a larger home who want uninterrupted internet service and great signal strength throughout the premises.

So simple to set up!!! Coverage is amazing! And speed tests are lightening fast!!! I’d buy it again. As of now I have 0 complaints! I purchased it for an external building on our property, and now my entire property has coverage, and I couldn’t be happier! Absolutely no lag when gaming. All kids are home schooling, and I work remotely, and handles everything flawlessly!
