I have not been a very big fan of netgear in the past but after a little research and talking to a couple of employees at Best Buy I decided to give it a chance. Connecting everything securely both wired and wireless could not have been easier. With in 1hr I had installed the new router and connected my 10+ devices. With this router I get great range and signal strength throughout my 3/2/2 house with the router in the far room of the house. Previous I had a 3-6 yr old belkin router but because of weak signal toward the 3/4 mark of the house I had to install a extender midway in the kitchen (wife really loved that :) ). Even with this set up I had erratic signal strength throughout the house. Wish I would have upgraded a few months ago. The only not so good thing is the cost but due to not needing a extender saves some money.

I was having wireless issues and this router fixed all of the issues I was having, including coverage, speed issues and it also added many great features that I did not have and now love - vpn, external drive support, etc.

No, this is not a cheap router. That said, it's worth every penny if you find yourself unhappy with your current speeds, or are having trouble getting a strong signal to a certain part of the house. This will get the job done.

I purchased this to replace the garbage Linksys I bought just over a year ago. After the Linksys self destructed, I installed this in my home. So far everyone is streaming and surfing like a pro. The setup on it was easy.

I read a ton of the reviews online when comparing this router to the others in it's price range; ultimately I decided this was the best choice. I love it so far! I've had nothing but blazing fast connections, and like that I can set my family and friends up with their own connection that's 'outside' my network. I was using a linksys N-router before, and the upgrade was worth it. Much better overall coverage in our home - I had to use a range extender to get the TV in our bedroom to connect. Not anymore! The Netgear has enough signal strength to easily cover my house (2800sf). It was worth it to me!

This thing is awesome! Multiple devices have no effect on performance and speed. I can get a strong wifi signal two houses away! Make sure and add password protection or the whole neighborhood will be using your internet.

Great product! I know it costs more than most routers but I promise you will see the difference in speed and range. If you have multiple devices in your house....say 10...you won't miss a beat! A must have for a Xbox one!

This is the best router i have used and its so easy to set up! My internet is up and running in 5 minutes. I love this router!! This one I replaced with my old D-Link Dir-655. I am extremely happy with this new router.

This wireless router is extremely fast and set up was real easy. It the past I had always had to call when I tried to set up a new wireless because they would not set up correctly. The set up on this router went smoothly.

This coming January will make 2 years iv had this router and the ONLY problem iv had with it is that the yellow Ethernet port got loose and wasn’t holding the cable very well and was losing connection. But I got a friend to fix that and it was a very easy fix.but all and all this has been an amazing router. If you’re into gaming or just have a lot of stuff you want to connect to the internet this is definitely the router for you. BUT! Beware, if you have a bad internet provider like I do because I live in the middle of nowhere your router will only push as much as your internet will provide.. which sucks but at least I’m getting the most of my internet with this router. HIGHLY Recommended.

We have great speed and extraordinary signal. Upgrading our electronics meant we needed to upgrade our connectivity too. This product handles everything we need.

I was actually told by a COX Cable employee to dump their new modem they installed in my home. The network guy from COX actually told me to return the COX modem and goo out and buy this exact Netgear Nighthawk, it has two channels and can actually broadcast in 5G on one channel which I use on our living room television and Macbook Pro, iPhone5S, and new iPad Retina Display. Backups are about 4 times faster when backing up PC, and all Mac Devices to the cloud. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone. Our house is very large and coverage is so good I can use it at my neighbors house over a block and a half away.

The router was relatively easy to put set-up. Slight issue with the antennae, but that may have been more user issue than product issue. The router works great, and I highly recommend. I can tell the difference in streaming. Two thumbs up!

This router replaced an older Linksys and D Link routers that could not output the speeds provided by my ISP. I purchased this router and instantly received the speeds I expected (wireless). Easy setup and easy to use.

WOW...POWERFUL ROUTER AND WIFI BOOSTER. ONLINE TOOLS WE'RE HELPFUL. WORKS WELL WITH Comcast. ANTENNA COMBO LOOKS LIKE A TRANSFORMER CALLED SOUND WAVE (TRANSFORMERS PRIME) AND THUS NAMED GIGATRON. SIGNAL IS POWERFUL.

I bought this as an upgrade to the N600 that I had purchased years prior, this is a massive upgrade that allows me to use it for massive data transfers while allowing other members of my household to still stream netflix, and various other services. My only regret to purchasing this product was not trying the next model up, but well worth the price. Range: 10/10 Speed: 9/10 Reliability 10/10 I have had this product for a bit now and feel more than comfortable reporting on it.

Extremely easy to set this unit up. works great all over my home. no dead spots or drop off. i have not had any problems or resets from the moment i set this unit up. even comes with a preset password that works great.

This is an excellent router. It's very easy to set up and provides great coverage in my house. Start working perfectly right out the box. Also provides with the Genie software which can be very helpful. I would recommend this product.

This router performs very well and has been reliable. Setup was smooth and without issues. Very good performance streaming and video conferencing with a variety of devices - mac, pc, apple tv, roku. Highly recommended!

I am so glad that I finally found a Router that exceeds my expectations and gets me the performance that I need for my Internet!! I own a 3 level home and I was having trouble finding a router that worked with my triple play @ Comcast! I did not want to rent and pay Comcast anymore money so I bought instead of renting their equipment! Best buy!!! Highly recommend! Good price! Plus if it goes on sale in the next 2 weeks, I get the credit refund!
