The clerk referred this higher priced router and we don't regret gett6it. After it got set up, we haven't had any problems with it.

This router is fast. Like "grab the fire extinguisher to put out the flames" fast. What I like alot is the security and management of it. The app let's you customize, assign, and manage your internet users on your router. Theres also available Parental Controls for when your young menace is trying to get onto sites they shouldn't be on learning new words and phrases to continue to confuse you when they're talking back. It's got good coverage and I found it's even better when you're using a mesh type internet system. It also has the option to switch between 2.4ghz or 5G. The first time set up is pretty easy if you follow the quick start guide included in the box. It's a bit pricey but worth it. You won't need another router and in the long run you'll save money and frustration if you don't have to rent the router from your internet provider.

This device works very well with all our devices. Virtually no more dropped service or dead spots. The whole family can stream videos during virtual conferences, classes, and meetings. I definitely would refer this to my friends and family.

I love the parental controls feature. It's great when you have teenagers. Also love the guest feature and the genie app.

My husband was hesitant to spend this much money on this product but was so glad he did it made all the difference!

Fast wireless router, great range, have hadno problems

The router is great and very easy to install. I have always liked Netgear products. However, the first week that we used this, the Wi-Fi signal kept dropping. We would have to re-start the router each time and then again after two days, the Wi-Fi wouldn't work. I called the Netgear tech support and the technician made me go through a bunch of setting and changes in the setting. After we hung up, it didn't change anything. However, one day our internet stopped working and completely lost all signal. A restart didn't work either. When I went into the router setting, I discovered that somehow, the router underwent a factory reset!!! I did not do this, and I had the kids howling that their tablets and PCs 'don't have internet'. I reinstalled the router entirely like it was just out of the box. After that, it worked perfectly and not a single issue. I don't know what happened.

Had this router about a year and all I can say is this is an amazing router. It handles 4K TVs, Xbox, PlayStation, desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, voip device, wireless security cameras, smart garage door opener all at the same time and the range is amazing, highly recommended.

I have been using one of these at my home. It's a challenging environment because its a three level home with a very large 4-flue masonry chimney right up the middle. The access point is in my basement (no way to get wires higher with all that masonry) and I get good service on all three floors.

We upgraded due to all of our wireless items and it has worked great! Just constrained by the bandwidth being supplied to the router.

Easy setup make this the perfect router for home use. Hooked up cables, plugged in, turned everything on...bingo! User interface was simple and easy to use. Easily changed the network names to my previous network names, setup same passwords, and the 12 or so devices at home connected without a problem.

Ok the product look really neat. But under that NightHawk appearance it a awesome router. It was a little bit tricky to configure, but one you learn how to manage, it has exceptional features. For my RIP Linksys router it a great step up. FYI: Only set up one of the two bands (2.4 or 5 GHZ) if you want a better performance,

We needed a router that supported our family size and internet needs and this product has provided it.

Had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. Nothing to configure to make it work. I am running 2 laptops, 2 Ipads, 2 phones, a desktop, crosstrainer, PS3 and a DVD player on this router and it hasnt skipped a beat. The range is awesome as well. Surfing the net in the garage or in the yard is not an issue with this router.

I have better WiFi coverage in my home now than before. Not so easy to connect but not Netgears fault.
