Easy to set-up and Great coverage in a 2000SF home on an 1 acre. Good security option just wish it had an easy to use VPN included but then you can't have it all and it's a small price to add on that cover all your systems. Super fast for streaming TV to anywhere in my home. Advanced option can be confusing for novice since like all new products the operation manual is mostly on-line

Easy to set up. Works well with computer, tablets and wireless printer, but even better it has set up just for game systems. You can decide what systems use what speeds. Made everyone in family happy.

Love the router. It was simple to set up...simple to get new devices connected...and simple to access it's settings. I have not had any dropped devices and it's coverage in my 2500sf home is great.

This router was easy to install and provides great security with little input from the user. The through put is lightening fast and never skips a beat with a lot of devices connected. The network genie is a great plus.

I recently was having difficulty with my old router dropping me and needing extenders to cover my house. This router is faster, stronger signal and covers my whole house by itself. What a great upgrade

This router has good range and signal strength, covers my 1700 sq ft home and near outdoor areas well. I think it's worth going with a high end router although they all seem to last about two years.

Replaced my 2.4 GHz Cisco 802.11n router because of periodic signal drop-outs and frequent slowness. My laptop that previously downloaded at speeds of about 5 to 50 Mbps, now with this Netgear unit operating at 5GHz, downloads at between 75 and 120 Mbps under exactly the same conditions. Evidently, the clutter at 2.4GHz due to other systems in close proximity such as neighbor's routers, wireless phone systems, etc. impacts performance. As an experiment, I switched the Netgear unit between 2.4 and 5 GHz and observed the same comparative results as I mentioned above. So, I recommend 5GHz operation to anyone with a router capable of far greater speeds than you will ever need.

This is a very good router if you are looking for something that has good range and high speeds. I t has a USB 3.0 port that comes in handy to hook up portable hard drive to. The only thing I don't like is that the router itself is very large and can be hard if you need to place it in a small area. The LED lights are also very bright and the router makes more noise then your normal router. Overall I think it is a very good product and is great if you have multiple devices on the internet that need to access hight speeds.

so far this has worked well for using multiple devices at the same time. The reason I did not give it 5 is because it is much larger than my other router and it takes up more space than I would prefer. Very easy set up

I did a lot of research on routers and landed on this one because it offered great specs/features for a reasonable price and because it was highly rated. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my WiFi consistently drops, probably about once per day. The quick fix that always works is simply rebooting the router (and I know it's the router's problem because I never have to reboot my modem to get the internet working again). When the router works, I'm easily able to get the speeds I'm paying my ISP for (300mbps) and have no issues with range in my 1700 sq ft house. Set up was very easy too, I can keep about 20 devices connected (phones, computers, TV, smart bulbs/switches) the app is intuitive, etc. but I simply cannot tolerate having to manually restart it so frequently. A search online shows that lots of other users have had this problem with this particular model and for that reason I will be taking advantage of the return window to replace this with a different router.

This is a great router, nice range and a good selection of features. It was easy to setup and connect to. It has been able to support all of our wireless and wired equipment without a hitch.

The NIghthawk is easy to setup and multiple devices can receive the wifi signal at the same time without a drop in signal strength. The Nighthawk covers the entire area of my 1780 square foot single level home with a strong signal. It is a large device that needs more desk top space than desired. You also need to access the internet to make user changes which can be frustrating.

I purchased this router to improve both speed and range. It exceeded my expectations on both. If I could change anything it would be to make the lights less bright. But that's pretty minor!

The wireless router was easy to install. The router is an excellent choice for multiple tech devices, and all run faster. Thanks to the Best Buy rep who helped me with buying the right product.

I get good signal throughout my two story 3300 square foot home and outside as well. Easy to set up. I hope it last a few years. Time will tell.

My internet service was slow so my provide suggested I update my router. Sales person reco,mended this one, was. Or most expense but reasonable price. Did help my internet

I like technology but am somehat challenged by it. Best Buy assessed my current WIFI setup and determined I was maxing it out. Other issues involved being able to access it in hte back bedrooms and out by the pool. Well, I had no issues setting it up and my entire neighborhood can access it if I was a nice guy. Plus, USB for network attached storage. Even better, they provide software to automatically do a backup of the device when it is on the netowrk within your defined parameters. $199 was pricey but highly recommend to keep the kids from complaining!

My old netgear lasted for over 8 years. It was time for an upgrade. This router has been working fantastically since I got it, no dropped signal, no crashes, no need for rests. Very please!

This was absolutely simple to setup using the wizard provided. Coverage is so good, in a large old 4-story house, that I was able to take down 2 repeaters I had previously setup. Noticeable improvement in speed from old router/repeaters. Other reviewers have noted reliability problems, but this has worked great for the first month, right out of the box. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a good, easy to set-up router and this Netgear unit was both. Set-up was so easy and fast. This router's range far surpasses my old Linksys single-band. Great connections!
