This router is a good router overall with lots of options to dial in your wifi to your personal preferences. The only real problem I have is that it drops the connection quite often and needs to be power cycled. Not a big deal really but interrupts my Alexa controlled devices if I'm not home to reset it. I think it is best paired with a timer on the outlet as it does not happen within 24 hours of the last reset.

Excellent router. Good for 2 levels no need to use expander, internet speed is perfect.

I researched quite a few routers before deciding on trying this one. It was very easy to set up and has performed great. I would recommend this to anyone.

This router does make it possible to use several internet devices at once. We still experience problems with losing connection, but less frequently and it is much faster.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I especially like the software which is easy to use and gives a great picture of my Wi-Fi network

Hopefully this one will last longer than the first one I purchased. It worked well but didn't last only 4 months, my local store did give me a replacement.

Good router. Covers my whole house. Have had any issues connecting. I’d be happier if I could pick my password tho

My input is 2nd floor at north end of house, and the TV is on the 1st floor at the south end. The router transmits without a hitch.

Alright where to begin. So I bought this to replace the one I am currently renting from my ISP. Set-up was easy. Here's where things go down hill. The Netgear Genie routerlogin.net where you control your routers settings, hasn't been right since day one. No matter what I do I cannot set priority or change device names on anything (Online Tech Support can't even figure this out and there is currently an open trouble ticket it). Connected devices is never accurate and wont display all connected devices and when it does it will display my phone as a blue ray player or have my amazon echo a higher priority as my fire tv and I cannot change it. As for the wifi signal itself things are now extremely delayed for instance voice control from my alexa used to be instant or have a very short delay, now the delay is extremely long to the point where alexa will say not responding then the component will respond. Its almost like its not able to have all my wifi components connected at once very confusing. So after dealing with this for about a week with many hard resets. Firmware is up to date and verfied to be the latest by tech support. I don't know what else to do, maybe i got a bad apple but I think I will be returnig this router

I did not have a dual band router and I constantly got disconnected with my old router. This unit has made things a lot easier.

I used to have to reboot my old netgear router frequently. This one all you have to do is set it up and let it do its job.

It pays to upgrade. No more lag or wait time. I'm very happy with this router. It covers my entire house.

Took care of the dead spots in my 2 story house. Great speed and I don't lose connection. Solid product.
