This is our third Nighthawk 1900 wireless router.

We were not let down. We have been pleased by the performance. Net gear provides assistance when we need to replace routers. The antennae on our Nighthawks have suffered abuse from our cats and probably caused some early terminal damage. The signal strength is so good that we have neighbors unknowingly ask if we know who owns"XXXX" WiFi so they might ask to access it.

Good...but with one major issue

I've had it for a month now and I have had to turn it off and then back on to get it connected again. Some online reviews mentioned it is a firmware issue...but I don't want to roll back to some previous version. If it wasn't for this one issue this router would certainly get 5 stars.

I think that it is a good router. My only complaint is the coverage area is not as "huge" as I have heard about. I have a small house in the country, 1000sqft down and 800sqft upstairs, and inside the house it works well. Step outside and that definitely changes. I will have to play around with the location, maybe that will help. Right now it is in the center of my house on the first floor.

Speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So iv'e had this unit for a few months now and after having issues with the first one, not being able to log into settings without resetting box, the second one has been working with no problems. I will say that the speed from wifi is not super great i have a 500mbps and only recive around 290mbps thru wifi. The router is within 20 feet of computer in clear view. However this unit works really good and I would recomend it
