A real head scratcher of a router

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll get this product to stars just for the simple fact that it was easy to set up and the Netgear app need it was easy to use. As far as the product, this router gave me headaches every week. I had to constantly reset the router a minimum of once a week if not more. And having the products for only one year, it completely malfunctioned and I lost all Internet connections to all my devices even though all my devices said I was hooked to the Wi-Fi. And yes, all my devices were “enabled“. Maybe I just got the red headed step child out of the batch of routers. But, this router was a serious thorn in my side. However, I know another person who has this router and they have had no issues at all like mine.

Great speed and distance - not so great stability

My family noticed the difference immediately, and I was coming from an Apple AirPort Extreme (which is no slouch). As long as nothing changes around it, it is reasonably stable, but if the cable goes down, or you change anything in its config, expect multiple reboots until it works properly again.
