Fast connection and right tech for trend

Then a Comcast Xfinity technician doing an onsite visit said he was buying this same router for his home instead of any offered by his company because this model has the faster connection speed and broader bandwidth to adequately accommodate current and trending technology. I've been pleased so far.

good product but not as stable as 6700

This one is good, but not as stable as 6700. From time to time, my laptop lose WIFI connection. I hope this one last longer, only time will tell. I will be careful with upgrade given the bad experience with 6700 upgrade.

A good router... with a few issues...

Coverage in my 2 level/ 2300 Sq ft home and deck are great. The issue (and there is a ton of info on this) is that periodically (even the same day) the router loses internet. Gone. Everything is connected... carrier settings are correct. Internet just ceases. There are blogs of "rolling back" to previous firmware and upgrading to latest firmware. Neither of which address the issue for any significant length of time (you might be rebooting TWICE in a day). I have found that a "particular" device from a "particular" manufacturer may be the culprit (which makes little sense), but if I remove it from my list of devices... VOILA... no router issues. Of course I reboot once a week or every other (as expectedl).
