Wonderful router for new internet provider

I purchased the item and when they arrived he had it set up and running in just a few minutes. We are able to receive reception throughout our home and also on our deck.

Good Mid Tier Router for Gaming

I think I was at 30mps and now im around 65mps. The app is very handy as well so you can see all the devices on the router. My only issue is that my Macbook does not always connect right away. But that might be my issue.

But it interacts easily with my Mac's, Tablets and PC. I get a decent connection through my very large house. That was the reason for buying it and it did exactly what the salesman said it would.

UI "Genie" could use an upgrade

The 5g band drops off (range) very fast but the 2.4g band is strong throughout the 3 story condo. Genie the UI interface is basic compared to other routers. Emailing the log does not work if using hotmail or gmail. The android app (genie) has no access to the log. iOS app has no analytics.

Nighthawk AC1900

You can see who's on your Wi-Fi and you can increase bandwidth for gaming or streaming movies. So far, so good. The connection to my home network was a little tough but I called Netgear and they helped me troubleshoot on the admistrator's settings real fast.
