better than ISP provider router

But, must have been operator error because my friend came over, used his tablet and it was working in under 5 minutes.

I like being able to work with this on the app on my phone if needed. I highly recommend the Nighthawk if you are looking to not rent one from your local company. Cost is very low as well.

Works Great!

Since I installed it, I have not had a single problem. Before, televisions in the back rooms were always losing signals and I had to reboot twice a night. It's nice to find a great product and a good price.

Best router bar none

Started with the 3700, 4000, and now the night hawk. Far superior products to the air port extremes. Many will argue the asus is a better product but I like the simplicity of netgear's GUI. Asus' isn't hard to use and has more options but I'm happy with the night hawk.

Great Improvement

My Apple router from 2012 was only putting out 120 mb wireless. Well once I hooked up this nighthawk, I was getting over 200 mb download speed. Perfect! I have well over 7 wifi devices connected at the same time. Sometime more. NO ISSUES so far.

Nice router

Also, I personally find it annoying I have to download an app to my phone to use for the initial setup as opposed to just plugging in an ethernet cable and having a web interface.

Good for the price.

Do not connect an external drive or Printer. They tend to not work well or cause the Router to lock up. The extra protection from Bitdefender is worthless. Causes all kinds of issues. waste of money. I am looking at better routers.

Just another router

I had a cheaper one and it did the same thing. This one even loses reception at times so it’s bothersome. I don’t even have much attached to it. Disappointing but acceptable. Not worth the money I spent though. It works, a plus.

Not the router for high demand WiFi networks

However, if your have lots of wireless devices like home automation or WiFi cameras leave this router alone or you will be power cycling it several times a day.

Cox Compatible

During set up I did have to call Cox to have them reset something on there side. After, that is was a smooth ride. No drops that I have noticed. I run TVs, Laptops, Xbox, and phones. Words at a great speed.
