I upgraded to this model and love it! I have a laptop, 4-6 mobile devices, 2 smart tvs and 4 smart blue ray players running at any given time. No more buffering or lag time on any of the devices! The router is being used in a two story home and so far no "dead zones". Great product!

I have had same model for 3 years or so. It ceased functioning during a firmware update. I needed a replacement in a hurry and ran in to get a new one. Took assistance from Netgear to suggest a hardwire connection to laptop to connect, but has functioned well since.

Pricey but definitely improved my internet. One issue that has occurred is being signed out of internet at times. I downloaded the phone application and haven't had a problem since.

Got this on advice from Best Buy associate. Better WiFi reception in my 1850 sf house. Don't know if dual band is useful or not, have to create 2 WiFi networks to use, 5ghz does not go as far as the 2.4ghz signal, so think single band would have been just as good, but maybe not.

Highly recommend, was having connection issues working from home, purchased online...picked up an hour later curbside and haven't had an issue since while using about a month.

The WiFi router works very well and stays connected well. The upgraded router makes working on our iPads or laptop much easier. Our previous router was very old and this new one is much more efficient.

This was a replacement for a router that died. A bit trickier to get up and running but it was functioned well usually. When things don't connect you have to unplug & reboot. This has happened 5 - 10 times since I got it.

Worked great, but didn't end up needing this product.

I purchased the wifi router couple of months back. It was blazing fast at first but it is crawling now. It disconnects all the time for no reason and sipped is horrible. It started at 200mbps download speed to 15mbps now.

Fast!! good streaming with videogames and ps4 games.

For the price, the TV has a lot of features, and a decent picture. The internet features are easy to use and work seamlessly. If you were willing to invest a little more, I think you would see the difference mostly in picture quality. It certainly covers basic needs now, until the pricing comes down on the higher end models.

I noticed an immediate boost in my wireless speeds from before when I used the generic Comcast modem (which also acts as a router). I've always had the Comcast Blast internet and the new combination of modem+router, mainly the router, means I consistently get to watch HD content on my Roku, tablet, etc.

Our previous Wi-Fi was meant for up to 3 devices, which at that time was perfect. But as we added more, the WiFi didn't work as well. Now we are all able to use our devices at once! Simple installation. Love being notified when there are updates to protect security.

This router works ok. Doesn't work as well (fast) as other reviews say it does. In fact, I do not notice any increased speed on my internet as compared to my older model. Still, I do feel this router is a bit more stable. And I like the ability it has to connect it with an external hard drive so I can back up all my files.

Excellent router. No issues with having to reset it. Nice that it has two bands and can be customized for heavy wifi use for gaming or streaming. Can set up a guest account so you don't need to give out your home password when family or friends visit.

I had just bought this router when I found out it was one of the models that needed a patch for security issues from Russian Hackers. Not exactly the best way to start out with a new product. Although the patch was applied, there have been other updates that have been needed since then. I also noticed the written literature was dated 2014. Why isn't Best Buy selling more up to date routers?? Another concern about how up to date this router actually is. In addition, the only way you can get any NetGear service with issues is to buy a warranty that enables you to access tech support. The person I was dealing with was based out of the Philippines. So the jury is out for me as to how satisfied I am with this router, not only with speed but the security of my computer information.

My wireless connection used to drop constantly and after installing this router, I have not had any issues. The instructions to set up were easy and it provides LOTS of parental control settings to lock down unwanted internet browsing for children. Well worth the money.

I upgraded my internet, so I needed a good router, and I am very pleased. It was recommended to me by the Spectrum tech, and so far, so good. It is nearly as good with wireless as it is when something is hard-wired.

Love this router cover my whole house no need for extenders at all. I can get a signal 50ft from my house! It great. I just had to trouble shoot it once and customer service try’s to sell you so type of care package.
