Great router. It works very well and provides great WiFi coverage. I also think these routers look the best. Well worth the money. I also like that you can change the firmware to use open source firmware

This Netgear-Nighthawk router is excellent. It provides great power for all the gear a family might have. There is no lack of power at any time. It is available and reasonably priced at your local Best Buy store.

We used the WiFi router our cable provider gave us was constantly dropping the WiFi signal we purchased this netgear router have not lost my signal once speeds have been max levels would recommend this device every time.

I didn't realize that wifi routers become outdated as quickly as they do. Usually I keep my electronics for years before they need to be replaced, but in this case routers are in their own category. So happy that we're now getting the upload and download speeds that we pay for.

Seems to be a solid product. Had it for a while now and I can't recall having to reboot it - maybe once? Anyway, it is handling all our traffic, and we have even been able to have a neighbor piggy-back to it.

We are still having difficultly with a poor signal through walls of a home.

The night hawk router is very Stable for smart tv and internet. My cell phone on wi-fi is stronger as I live in the mountains ! I like it for Spectrum Tv streaming with a choice of 5g band or 2g, the picture quality very clear.. A Great 3 antenna router..

My son bought this for our home with advice from the Best Buy assistant. We have so many devices hooked up to the old Wi-f router we were having trouble. Various computer would stop working, etc.This unit solved all of our problems. Everythiong is now running smoothly.

I'm the IT director for an Architectural firm in Lexington, Ky and I've had a lot of experience with wireless routers. This one is hands down... by far... head over heels better than anything I've ever purchased. Signal strength is absolutely amazing... You simply can't "get away" from it!

Tends to slow down or use other channels when In a crowded environment. Had to restart it daily for first week or so before it settled down and worked for longer periods. Can't tell if it is channel interference or an inherent issue with the router. The log in app is amazing and simple

I have always been a fan of NETGEAR routers. Unfortunately I believe their latest firmware update bricked my previous Nighthawk but that did not deter me from purchasing another one. Great products at a good price.

I had so many issues with my previous 2-in-1 modem/router but ever since switching to this router (and buying a separate modem) I've had no issues whatsoever. Initially I was reluctant to purchase it but I'm so glad it was recommended to me by an employee.

Went to the local store, and was not sure what I needed. A member of the Geek Squad helped me out, and showed me a few options. He was quite knowledgeable and helped me pick out the right Router for my situation. Install was easy and the router has worked perfectly.

Randomly loses connection every couple weeks requiring a reset... other then that not mad. Wish the services included lasted a little longer but thats the manufacturer not best buy.

Update to new router from router that was about 8 years old that kept dropping connection, New router is working just fine as expected. Sales person was very helpful in choosing new router to fit my needs.

Setup is easy. Connecting is easy. You can also establish parental controls through the router. Unfortunately working with the parental filters or bypassing them is a pain. I have difficulties throttling certain users, or even seeing who is connected.

This router is not reliable. In a period of one month, it would drop the internet connection and would require a full reboot to get it back online. This is very inconvenient when I am working or when my kids are online for school. I previously had WGR614 network router from Netgear for the past 10 years and never had any issues. I was expecting the same reliability in this Netgear product only to be disappointed by its connection performance. The only fix should not be a full reboot of the system, repeatedly.

Becoming aware of the changing technology. Data speeds have lagged behind. This is one item I have added to try and speed things up. Has features on the app that I can see what's going on. Learning process is on going.

This is a pretty good router. I like that fact that it has dual bands to pick from. This really helps because my son and I are using the internet as he is during virtual school and I am work from home. I would recommend this device.

Bought this unit because WiFi in my two-story was often poor. This does an awesome job getting better, and full bars, coverage throughout the house. Only mark against it was the problems around trying to use the USB port with a Western Digital drive as a "network drive" for everyone to access.
