A gamechanger for our house! Our cable repairman recommended purchasing this router rather than use the substandard one the cable company rents to us each month. It pays for itself in less than a year!

I would give it 5 stars but the price is a little steep. Other than that I highly recommend this router. I have DSL and the provided modem/router from my service provider doesnt perform for me. I am a gamer and even though my service isnt the best this router helps speed everything up.

Good product and value for the price. I dumped u-verse equipment and ridiculous price for my own equipment and roadrunner. I'm saving 30 bucks a month, have a higher mps rate and more efficient and effective wifi connection with this equipment and the modem I bought.

I have always liked NETGEAR Products until this one. Soooo disappointed in this hardware. The firmware is full of bugs and support has no ETA if and when a new version will be released to fix the issues. Connective randomly drops through out the day. The unit HAS to be REBOOTED every 24 hours to get anything to work. And if you try to utilize the advanced security features, multiple reboots per day are required.

I had to replace another router after a year. So, I after reading the reviews I forked out the money for this nighthawk. Man, I'm glad I did. Our wifi reception and speed is lots better. The phones stay connected now also.

Purchased this due to the fact that it was rated very high. Installed it, and now my e mail (Outlook) is much slower to load than my previous router. Everything else seems fine, just doesn't like to load e mail. Otherwise, pretty decent reception.

This is the perfect device when you need an upgrade. It was so much faster than my old Modem. I can run 7 devices (streaming) easily. It wasn’t the easiest set up, but after the set up I had and am having no problems with this modem.

This router was recommended by in-store Geek Squad guy. Bought it and scheduled Geek Squad to install. The Geek Squad guy showed up on time, was very courteous, and completed the install successfully. Very pleased -- both with the new router and with Geeks!

Seems to work just as well as the modem supplied by the cable company, but I no longer have to rent... However, I still occasionally do not get service in the wing of my house. Really can't tell if it's from the router or from the service provider.

We recently got cable and internet from a local company and they didn't bother to tell us we needed a seperate router for wifi. So we would have needed a different router than what they had. So we ended up buying one. And your salesman helped pick one for our needs.

Had the expectation that it would help upstairs tv's reception,did not!

I like it but it's too complicated to configure. I have to download programs to configure the restrictions I need for parent control. It needs to be a little more simplified to configure and videos should be online to view would help somewhat.

Old wifi extender died all of a sudden. Decided to invest in an upgrade. One of the greatest decisions I ever made. Best part about it, I can block/unblock devices from the app.

Finally updated my router and now my daughter - who always had a hard time getting wifi on her phone with t mobile - can get wifi with no problem. It also means the tvs don't have to buffer like they were.

Fastest wifi I ever had experienced! Works swell at my home with all devices at same time! Two laptops, 3 smart TVs, iPad, Wii U, and two 3DS. Plus the wired enternet connected to my gaming PC and Videophone via router are super fast! Glad I went with this router!

It was a little confusing to hook up but I did figure it out by myself ( I am not a techie) I did have to call a tech later on because I put in my email wrong and that was a major issue . But the modem works good

This router quit working for us about 5 months after we had purchased it. We called Netgear customer service and they sent us a new one. Great customer service, even though the first one only lasted 5 months. No problems with the second one yet.

I purchased this router to replace my dated Linksys wrtg 54. This router is far superior and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a router. Take a close look at the ac1900 the security, dual band capabilities are unmatched in this price range.

outstanding equipment, i really enjoy the nice features that this equipment have, i have use this item to set up my (VPN), and it works great i would recommend this equipment , I have always choose Near gear, for any project with my internet
