I've had the same router for a year or so then then, unfortunately, it was zapped via the cable connection by lightning strike. Until then it worked great, so I purchased the same model. The newer router has a few updates and better firmware. It's working great.

This is a powerful router. Netgear doesn't disappoint. Love the smart features such as controlling the router from my phone and the option guest network. If shopping for a decent router, you should definitely consider this one.

It’s a great router for the price and it really backs up with it says it does . I would recommend for the price . It’s a pretty strong router I Get wi-fi up to 100ft oway from it . Can’t go wrong with it

Great product! I replaced sysco 2 in 1 modem-router combo. I was not getting a good wifi signal throughout the house. I tried using the extenders but that didn't work. As soon as I hooked it up i could feel the difference. Very happy with my purchase.

My AV guy was impressed when he saw this router from Netgear and said it would be a good purchase. It seemed to do well at first but seems to drop my internet signal quickly. Plan to order a range extender because had lightening damage and not sure if all the wiring is good.

I bought this to run the web camera system at my pet hotel. We have 51 cameras and each needs a port forwarding rule and this router allows for 64 rules (most only allow 20). The wireless speed ig very fast as is the gigabit wired ports.

Replaced cable company equipment with the Netgear Nighthawk router and saw immediate results. We did not have a strong wireless signal in parts of our multi-level home. With the new router, we now have a very strong signal throughout the house. Highly recommended.

This device really saved me some money. I was able to connect my alarm system to prevent buying a new board. I was able to connect devices in those hard to reach areas.

My old Netgear router was great but it wasn't fast enough for streaming movies and some Apple products would not work wirelessly unless you were in the room with the router. Installing the new R7000-100NAS Nighthawk was a snap and solved my connectivity problems all over my house.

Has expanded Wi-Fi coverage in our home, but is not a strong reception. Our house is a small 3 bedroom and I use Wi-Fi for my bedroom tv, a lot of “thinking” being done by my tv.

I have had for a couple of months now and it seems to be working and better than my older Netgear router that it replaced. It has more features than I need but reserving an IP address on the router is a challenge. I have yet to find the controls for that.

The set up was not as simple as it was expected but the tech support was excellent and I was able to get it working. The connectivity compared to my old router is so much better and we haven't had any issues so far.

I was hoping this would help our Wi-Fi situation and it definitely did. The 5ghz band has really helped with our more modern smartphones and game consoles. I don't think we've had any disconnects at all. The switch to Ethernet with Fios was super easy.

purchased this Router since I had previous experience with Nighthawk. I had a little trouble setting it up but the Geek I had come out and he got it all running well. I'm very leased with it.

I've had the router for only two months. The first one I picked up during Black Friday had a hardware issue where it just would cycle on properly. Exchanged it for a new one and installation and network setup was easy. Phew. We now get good solid wifi connection for all devices.

This is my second router I bought to give to my family. So I set it up and tested it at my home and configured everything to make it is working. Now I gave it to my family in the other house it is stopped working and it is not even connecting to the host website so I can reconfigure. Very disappointed. I used to own Apple Routers from the very long time and they were just sooooooooo easy to use and they worked like a charm. I could give that product to anyone and it would just work. Same had been given an apple router earlier again configured by me and they all just worked. I hope Netgear would learn some lessons from Apple.

Bought the 6300 about a year ago without the extended warranty. Firmware "corrupted" twice when power went out. Second time I was unable to update firmware, so this replaces it. If you buy the more expensive Netgear routers, make sure to get the extended warranty and regularly check for firmware updates.

Replaced a old Netgear router with this one. Because of its' capabilities, we are able to run my wife's business, my business, 2 kids in virtual school, and stream multiple tvs at the same time.

It works okay. Still dead spots in my 2200 sq ft house
