This new upgrade with the Netgear router has helped run multiple devices at the same time with no lag time. It will run movies, games and anything else all at the same time with everyone in multiple locations.

It’s fine but I had to be on the phone with Netgear for over 30 minutes to get it to work, the technician had me reboot the router 4 times. Frustrating to start but it’s ok, not a huge difference compared to my Cox combo.

My household has up to five XBoxes among other network needs. I purchased this router to help with my fix for NAT issues connecting to xbox live. It has functioned as anticipated. Very pleased with this router.

I love my ability to turn the router off at night or change my passcode to knock the kids off of their devices when they are grounded. I also had a great improvement in my wifi performance as my rented combined modem & router was horrible from Cox.

Went from Belkin N600 which dropped considerable video/audio from my conference calls. I tolerated that...until now. Easy setup. Rock solid performance. Great coverage for my whole space. Guest and regular bands. Looks like an alien spacecraft...and I'm cool with that!

My old NETGEAR router was 10 years old and could not work with updated security so I got this one. Set-up was super simple and my connection is so much better. Enhanced security makes me feel safer, too.

I bought this R7000 after my previous Netgear AC1750 Router died. This one worked for less than 1 year and 10 months then froze up during a Firmware upgrade via their Nighthawk App. I didn’t interrupt the process, it simply screwed up all by itself. This corrupted the firmware code that controls the boot sequence. Now it is stuck in what's known as a "Brick" mode. It’s a $200 “brick” that cannot do anything. Doing factory resets every way I find on the internet doesn’t fix it. The power LED just flashes white after an incomplete boot. After searching the internet and the Netgear Support group, I find that this seems to be a common Netgear problem, and there is no simple solution. I had to download the firmware file to my Windows Desktop and manually install it using a Windows tftp file transfer process via the ethernet port on the router. I have limited experience using this type of file transfer, so it took me more than 2 hours to get the router firmware loaded and get it running again. Of course, this process brought it back to factory default mode, so I had to then reconfigure its’ SSID Network name, security settings, and password all over again. I do NOT recommend Netgear products.

Had a failed Linksys router (long range died) and this fixed the problem. I have a lot of smart home items and this router handles it all. It's great and looks kick butt too (yeah, very relevant).

Love the router. Have a few problems but think it is the internet since so far from the road and didn't have problems at last location. I would highly recommend this router. I had bought it when someone had told me about it. No regrets at all!

I replaced the router that our service provider gave us with the AC1900. Our up and download speeds have doubled and moved much closer to the 1Gig we have piped to our house. Quite delighted with it.

Love this router. Bought because I needed something I could use with Tomato. This was perfect and does what I needed it to do. Had it for few months now and no issues. Better wifi signal than the pos centurylink gave me.

I bought this router to replace another Nighthawk router i had that got fried during an electrical storm. Ive always had good luck with Netgear routers. This router worked great when I first got it out of the box but i started noticing over a two week span that i was having to reboot it everyday. After reading further on some forums i started seeing this is a ommon problem for this router due to the firmware that is currently provided by Netgear. As someone else said, I want a router that I can set up and forget about. I returned the router because after having to reboot it more than 10 times in two weeks I just became annoyed. I really wish Netgear qould fix the firmware problem that is an obvious problem woth this router. So many people have made comment of having to reboot this router.

This router was a snap to setup and secure. Fixed all the range issues and dead spots that the previous "N" router had. We even get a good signal in the back yard. USB ports are useful for local music and file sharing with an external USB hard drive.

I have had one of these for years, I bough this to expand my wifi and set the old model as an access point. Netgears software is easy to use even if the web UI is dated looking compared to the phone app

I had trouble with my streaming videos and since I cut the cable and rely on Netflix and Hulu I need to be able to watch with out issue. So far so good it has really increased the quality of my streaming and can handle all my devices.

Bought as a replacement for a 5yr old router that had seen its time and wanted to upgrade. Works well so far, only issue is that laptops will occasionally get dropped from the network for no reason. This doesn't happen with any other wireless enabled tech I own, oddly enough.
