I've had this router for about a year and its never really been smooth, but recently started having constant drops and reconnects. I wasted countless hours rebooting, resetting, testing other firmwares, rebooting modem, changing settings, etc. Some devices would lose connection and others wouldn't, so i had to reboot as well. Seems like an older firmware from few years back is most stable, but thats unacceptable and many security features don't work with an old version. It became unusable especially when trying to work from home. Most newer reviews of this router seem to have this same issue. Stay away from netgear they have major firmware issues. I bought the Alien amplifi and that booted right up, all devices connected seamlessly and I've had no wifi issues since.

The instructions for connection were very easy to follow. I was able to add the router without disconnecting any of my existing equipment and having the USB back as part of my network made it convenient for my devices to share.

Definitely has improve WiFi signal all around the different rooms. This is a product I recommend. Little trouble setting it up but product has a phone number that I can call and they help u set up.

Your sales people where great. Help me compare this unit to others for my application. Also, honored the price match guarantee. I have more promo points coming to me. Waiting for them to buy Netgear modem from you.

We have a large home and always needed two wireless modems to get proper coverage. Many of the reviews said it was strong and they were right. Now we have 1 wireless covering the entire house plus just about anywhere outside in our yard.

I replaced another NetGear router with this one because I upgraded my internet connection and wanted to take advantage of the increased bandwidth. Installation was very easy and both desktop computer, laptop, tablet and smartphone connected without any problems.

I was having all kinds of connection problems, this solved them and it was so good that I went out and bought a second one for another property that I own too. I would definitely recommend upgrading to this!

Not even 2 months of use and it has randomly disconnected from the internet including loss of communication from PC to the router. Reboot and it does it again a week later that we notice. Now as you connect wifi phone, you get erros every 10-60 seconds of "check your internet connection". Maybe my issue is we use Cisco Enterprise equipment at work and I expect a device to work solid for months to years on end. I will never buy a Netgear router. Setup a customer's once years ago and it was garbage. Tried this as it certainly was not a low end spec'd device. Still junk. Yes I updated firmware after I noticed the issues. I also did a master reset etc, so please do not assume I know nothing. :)

I bought this product to replace a competitors model that was worthless. Wish I would have just gone with this one 1st! Super easy installation and flawless operation. I have multiple users and many devices and this product manages them all without a problem!

I would give it 5 stars but I’ve had this product only for 2 years and it is already starting to go out on me. It’s just me and my son, so it’s not like there is a ton of streaming going on in this house!

This router was fast, but didn't provide the coverage it was supposed to. It also dropped WiFi frequently. Perhaps I just had a faulty model.

I've purchased many routers linksey Cisco ext and by far net gear nighthawk is the best I've ever Owned ! Money well spent my family and I are extremely happy with the nighthawk and strongly recommend for all purpose internet usage ! The nighthawk is 12/10

I had a netgear rangemax that started being very slow. I purchased this router and couldn't be happier. It is lightning fast and the range is excellent. If you are thinking about this router, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

This is a nice router but for the price I’m not impressed with the connection and length of signal it was quite expensive and I have to reset a lot to get it to connect correctly
