Just what we needed as we converted to work from home. We were struggling with slow service, and this solved the problem. Will buy another for our second home.

Product had issues from date of purchase. Internet connection dropped various times in the course of a day. I engaged customer support after I was unable to troubleshoot on my own (online case #24556153). End result was a link to a series of steps on their website. ISP spent multiple hours trying to trouble shoot and determined it was not their signal or the modem, which I updated thinking it may help the dropped connection. Fast forward multiple months and now I can’t get this modem to connect and stay connected and NETGEAR wants me to pay for support or send equipment back at my expense for service. Likelihood of receiving refurbished equipment … near certainty.

overall I like it, but it loses Wi-Fi connection at least once a week, with the price of this, they need to find a patch and fix it , would recommend but advise of lost connection

This was easy to pair using the app and had good speed but it not good for large houses because it cannot cover large areas.

Having two levels of frequency 2.4 and 5.0 is beneficial in our home. The router is downstairs and my son's computer is upstairs. He does a lot of gaming and the higher frequency is a plus.

Purchased this router to replace an old N router in order to have a higher bandwitdh and this does not disappoint. I would recommend to speed more money and get this router.

Had extremely low speeds with my old router and bought this router! Life changer! Finally picking up signal all vet the house and at fast speeds! Great buy!

I bought this unit on the recommendation of Best Buy staff. If works well as a wireless router but the ability to connect a usb hard drive to the router and have it shared by network computers is useless, the drive is visible, but you cannot copy files to the drive or open files on the drive. Looking online this seems to be a major problem for this router. If you want a good router at a nice price and will never want to use it to house a network drive, then this router is worth considering.

Hardest to use was the instruction booklet? How do you get online if your router won't go there? But once running, haven't had any blips.

This router is performing very well. Our download speeds have increased and we have no difficulty keeping our Internet connection.

It has been a life saver for my hime internet. It has helprd me keep.a tab on my kids screen time.

I purchased this unit to complete my home wifi setup. I wanted to buy something that was future proof and also takes advantage of tech to make my setup better in the present also. After a week of comparisons I finally found the unit right for me.

The product was exactly as described, worked with windows 10 right out of the box, connects to cellphones, Roku and other wifi devices like laptops just fine.

I bought this thinking it would solve the connection issues we were having at my house with out AT&T modem but this was worse. The router would constantly reset itself leaving us without internet multiple times throughout the day. We work from home and have a smarthome so this was NOT fun. What made things even worse was when we contacted Netgear customer support for help and they refused to talk to us unless we purchased phone support even though we were in the 1 year warranty period. I would highly recommend purchasing a different brand simply because of how poor customer support is at Netgear. They charge steep prices and if your device decides to stop working after 30 days, they milk you for more money just to talk on the phone.

Set up is annoying. Seemed I could only do it through an app I had to download and then give away my personal information to, to make an account with Netgear to use the app, to set up the router. Why can't I just plug a cable into the router like the old days? Also, the app tried to sell me further services while setting up the router. Put me off getting another Netgear router. Having said all that, once set up, the router gives us much faster WIFI than before so we're happy with that.

Recommended by many professionals to me and considerably better than supplied router. It was not as easy to set up as the instructions implied and took over 5 hours of telephone assistance over 2 days to finally set up.

This product improved our internet connection throughout our house. My iPad stays connected at all times now. Thank you to the geek squad, who was at our house installing our new tv, for the recommendation.

While we did get plug in network extenders, this was doing a decent job of pushing signal from basement to the third floor. We had a linksys before this model but had to return it. Very happy with my purchase.

I love this router. I will say I have had to reset it a few times but the speed when it is connected is fantastic!

I upgraded to this router from a Belkin 1600 and the results are great. the 5G has been great and with the amount of devices in my home it has done great handling every device. Would highly recommend
