Bought it when my old netger just stop keeping up with all the streaming devices in a house. So far works like a charm. Really enjoy that dual band. Helps spread out devises.

Works well, but hard to set up. I have plenty of experience with routers. This one did not want to work with my modem.

This is a great router for basic devices but we were having a problem with the internet lagging when my son would play online. We had to buy the WiFi extender! Together they work great!

Easy set up, great speeds and remote connectivity using Nighthawk app. Netgear is the go to product for all my WiFi and network needs.

Originally bought it to expand my coverage and get the most out of my Internet plan. However, the coverage still gave me dead spots, and it’s firmware auto updates which caused A LOT of issues. It worked for a while, but then it became a headache like most other Netgear products. I went with a mesh router system instead and am much happier with that result.

Do NOT use the app to set up this router. Connect to it wireless/wired the log into with your computer (not a tablet or smart phone) using a web browser to set it up (use it's local IP). The app will get hung on first connecting. Tried it with an Android phone and iPad. They both failed to set it up. Also the app isn't worth downloading. I would not suggest this router for any one who doesn't know about basic home networking. That app is really buggy and bad.

We mainly stream Netflix and other streaming media. This works amazing well and has great strength throughout our house. No complaints at all!

Youre getting a good router for the price I havent had one issue with it works just like i want it too and the app is easy to use and understand

Excellent service...! As soon as I walked in a salesman asked me if I needed help and then explained everything to me in detail and I went by what he said when I made my purchase!

Firmware issues. Constantly going on and off at night. Worked fine for a year then had an issue where it didn't even turn on. Netgear charged me $60 to turn it on in 5 seconds from their end. When it works it works great. It's just trying to keep it working for more than 30 minutes at a time.

It's so great it is to have a router that doesn't drop signals or lose connectivity. I'm not tech-savvy, so I had the Geek Squad do the set-up for me. I am one satisfied customer!

Seems to be a good router but did not improve range beyond the older router I already had. Barely reaches from one end of the home to the other, about 60 ft.

This Nighthawk beats my old router/modem provided by the internet service provider hands down. In tandem with my new Netgear cable modem, I know have wi-fi suitable for streaming tv.

Feet could be a little thicker to give it better cooling air flow. Otherwise, it's working well. l haven't had it long enough to give it a full 5 stars yet.

I needed a dual band wi-fi, and this was a great buy, I have a 4k tv, iPhones, iPads, and the whole house hold is streaming and using the wi-fi, no problem at all.

Already bought this once and the router died after many years. This router is amazing everywhere in my house get amazing signals.

I PURCHASED THIS ROUTER BECAUSE COMCAST TOLD ME IT WAS MY ROUTER WAS BAD. AFTER PURCHASE AND CONNECTING, TURNS OUT IT WAS THEIR MODEM THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO RETURN IT BUT SEEMED TO WORK JUST FINE.

Bought this router to connect my IoT devices. This works in a separate network. It comes with an app and also with some security features. Good purchase.

Ended up going with Comcast again so I bought this (rental prices are dumb). Love that I can control it from my phone if needed.
