Excellent wifi router! I liked this product so much I recommended it to my boss for the office.

I always had trouble with my Comcast WiFi router in my house.When a friend recommended the Nighthawk AC 1900 from Netgear, I bought it and my troubles are over.It is perfect.

Best router there is out there. Nighthawk is definitely the brand you want to go with

As a competitive COD player, it is very important that i have an Open NAT. This router made it simple with just a setting change! I highly recommend this product.

Didn’t really know much except that I needed one. This has done the job and have no complaints so far.

Sold 1 story rancher home and left old router behind. The 2 story home is 1150 SF up and 1150 SF down. Router not as strong as the nighthawk left behind.

Does everything I bought it for. Old one was old and I was looking for something not too expensive.

It seems others have had better luck with this product than me. I tried using it before upgrading my internet package and it was very spotty. Since I've upgraded my internet, I have used only the router from my internet provider, so it's possible it would have worked fine but I decided to stick with the router from the provider instead.

Ran into a number of issues of the unit continually disconnecting from Wi-Fi. Read online that this seems to be a common theme for this unit. Everything I tried did not resolve the issue. Ended up going back to my old router :-(

Read the 1 star reviews and google R7000 issues, know what you are getting into. I am on my second R7000, I returned the first only to have the 2nd have the same issue. The 5G wireless only runs well if you use a certain firmware. If you use any of the newer firmware it will drop your 5G service randomly and get worse and worse until you reboot. The reboot will only fix it for about 6-8hours and it will start again. No good if you work or go to work from home. Tech support will have you change settings for weeks. The only fix is the old firmware.

Great device and allows for less slowing or buffering. The only thing that I find prohibative is the cost. It is kind of expensive.

I am satisfied so far. I feel as I can’t determine a true review until I see if this router holds up for more than a year.

This is by far the best router that I have ever used. It gives very easy set up process and there is also a lot of testing built into the device

It works keeps me connected to the internet. I thought it would be faster than what it is. But still it does what I purchased it for. That is the important thing. So I guess it was a good purchase.

Set up was a breeze and can tell the difference from my earlier wi-fi router. Have now installed in a 2 story duplex and the speed is still there...worth the price.

Its a good router for the price. Exploring the internet is better when you have a good device

When this router was working - it was great. HOWEVER, it dropped connectivity at least once a day (often more) every single day beginning the day I purchased it. I called Netgear support consistently and was walked through similar troubleshooting steps with each rep I spoke with. Every solution involved resetting/reinstalling the router which would temporarily restore connectivity until it happened again the next day. Ultimately - I returned this router as this seems to be an very common issue. I do not recommend to anyone and suggest everyone avoid the headache.
