This item replaced a NetGear old router so this is want I expected. Net Gear makes quality products as far a I am concerned.

I had no trouble hooking it up or accessing it with our laptop and tablets. Smart TV has been more of a challenge, still working on that one sad to say.

Very good router, powerful. I had to change a setting manually for IPV6 to work properly with COX at my place in Arizona.

Upgraded this from my apple router. Noticed a big gain in coverage area. Also noticed less buffering when more than one device was running

I purchased this device after buying several Linksys AC routers. I currently live in a two floor condo and I could not find a router that would reach the master bedroom on the second floor. The previous route I had purchased (Linksys AC1200+) did a good job with reaching my room, but failed in giving me good speed. I only reached 5.5Mbps which is terrible. Once I hooked up my new Nighthawk I checked the strength and speed in my room and it was far beyond anything I expected. I am getting close to 30Mbps, which was 6 times more than my previous router. When i test the speed near the router, i get around 50Mbps. The range in my room is now outstanding and get almost full bars with every device. I currently run around 8 devices on my wireless network at any particular time and all my devices run smooth without any interruption in service. Netflix runs smooth with no lag, my Xbox live connection is amazing, and downloading speeds are incredible (though I know ISP regulates my speed). One minor downside with the Nighthawk for me is that it is a little on the big side. So finding a spot to put this thing can be tough. Although you can wall mount it, so that could be helpful. Something else is having the USB 3.0 port in the front. I am not too fond of having my storage device sticking out in the front. I did read on a few reviews that the reason they did that was so the port did does not interfere with the wireless signal. Not sure if that is true but could be. Besides those two minor things, the router is exceptional and does everything I want it to do. It also comes with some extra features such as the use of VPN and also media features. Overall the Nighthawk is a great device with many features and you will not regret purchasing this router!

Worked okay for only a year. It was a great buy at first but I didn’t get my money’s worth.

This a welcomed upgrade for my home. The Wi-Fi reaches further and the web interface has some great features for sharing files and vpn.

This is great because it is in our main room & all of the other rooms in the house work off it it beautifully! No issues!

Once I got it up and running, the distance was great. We have 2houses on 3/4 of an acre and ri reaches from one house to the other. Worth the money!!!!

decent router, used for VPN so overwrote the firmware.

Not sure why it went out after 2 years but luckily had the warranty to replace it good router

I did some research on Amazon and BB on there reviews. Both products had great reviews and the employees at BB were quite knowledgeable.

Seemed like a good router. Didn’t have it for very long since it wasn’t needed anymore with my internet carrier. Would recommend.

Replaced an old router. Set up was fairly easy. Works pretty well. Better signal in the back part of my house than with the old router.

Loved how easy it was to set up and the app that you use to monitor active devices works perfect.
