Very slow throughput wired connection

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wi-Fi works fine with typical download at 145 Mbps; the wired connection is another matter, with typical speeds of less than 10% of the Wi-Fi speed. A power cycle does temporarily get the wired connection to near the Wi-Fi speed but after a short time it slows to as slow as 1.0 Mbps down. That is not a typo - one point zero!!! I've had this device for four months and frequent calls to Netgear's so-called tech support have not only failed to get the thing working correctly but every time I call (six times so far today) and ask for a replacement I get ignored. Tech support refuses to troubleshoot (out of the 90 day window now) without $50 in advance and also refuses to discuss replacement of the obviously defective device. THIS IS MY LAST NETGEAR PRODUCT.
