This is truly the best router out there. Worth every penny

Wireless service I have had sends over 50 MBPS that is great for me.

Something is wrong with the firmware. It worked for a few months, but the router has slowly stopped working. At this point the internet cuts out 10+ times a day requiring reboots every time we need to use the internet and constantly throughout use. Streaming and video chatting is literally impossible. Because netgear doesn't provide tech support after 90 days from purchase, they won't help us. We've tried every fix we could find online. Do not waste your time. Don't buy this model and consider not supporting a company who won't support you.

This is great if you have a 2 story home or if you have a lot of Bluetooth devices!

Great product. Tried Linksys product, had nothing but problems, returned and got the Netgear Router.

Not near the range I was hoping for, but the connection is solid for sure so far.

Maybe this is great hardware; time will tell. But never have I seen such a botched installation procedure: 1) you must use android or iphone to install the Netgear app. Cannot install/configure router using an ethernet link 2) must create an account in order to continue installation. Ok, seems reasonable but is this the same as the web account (you have to create a web account in order to get support) 3) create password: first think of a suitably tricky password, but not one you will forget. Enter it, and only then see all the restrictions on characters used. Of course, you are using the clunk cellphone keyboard to find & enter special characters. Repeat 4 times until you get it right (make sure to take ongoing notes ref: your changing password suggestions 4) see a bunch of adverts promoting how great Netgear is(n't) 5) enter a variety of personal information that has nothing to do with setting up a router, but is very good for Netgear marketing 6) Now cell phone will attempt to use your broadband to connect to the router, BUT, your wifi link is not active because you haven't logged in to the router. Upon enter credentials, Android tries to invoke a browser to permit entering the password. Browser fails because one has no internet link yet. 7) contact support, fails, they are too busy right now.
