    Horrible router have to reset it at least 3-5 times a week as it loses connection. Would not recommend this router to anyone.

    This product is garbage!!!! This router disconnects for no reason, sometimes twice. Checked my internet provider, while the router was offline on one of many incidents, I plugged the internet cable directly to my laptop and what do you know!!! I had internet. Again, stay away from this product!!!! And would'nt you know it, went to submit review, the router was offline!!!!

    I was having some issues with my router losing connectivity at times, and having to reboot every few days. And decided to just buy this beast, to try to fix that and improve my streaming/gaming abilities....Boy that was a good idea! This was very easy to set up, Netgear Genie works like a charm able to switch or update settings really quickly.

    Horrible. Will never purchase another Netgear product again. Continuously drops Wi-Fi multiple times per day. The customer service technicians are polite and helpful, but their “fixes” do not seem to help. Have tried everything from hard resets to enabling an older, more reliable firmware. This router has only been a colossal waste of time and money. Pathetic.

    Finally a Router that Works!

    This is a beast of a router. We have been through many routers and lot of them are pretty spotty. This one has a really strong signal and doesn't go in and out like other ones we have had. Our devices also have a super easy time connecting. The set-up was super easy. Couldn't be more happy with this router.

    This router speed is good but it always have problems. It just drops signal and I stay rebooting it at lease every other day. Don’t keep pass 14 days

    And found to get this router. Geek squad hooked it all up. This router does.drop. the appt. Doesn't work. I even called netgear support, still couldn't get the app to. Work. I really don't know how it got great online reviews.

    Worked great- for 6 months. Then started having problems with the internet randomly getting dropped. Replaced the cable modem thinking that was the problem. Nope. Replaced the cables thinking that would fix it. Nope. Come to find out that TONS of other people have the same issue. It’s a piece of junk that I paid $170 for and didn’t even get a year of good function out of it. Need to get another router that I can count on for homeschooling, and it won’t be this brand.

    Very hard to hook up. Stop doesn't work right. We spent to much time trying to get it to with and couldn't return it. Terrible purchase

    WEAK SIGNAL, BUMPED OFF INTERNET CONSTANTLY

    Bought this 31 days ago. Out of the return window. I have called 3 times. Netgear's first solution was to have us place the router 10' in the air. We don't have any place in the house to put this 10' in the air. We were constantly being bumped off the internet. Call #2 the guy had us change settings. Call #3 we constantly have low signal - SLOW internet (probably because of the settings change). I'm still on hold after talking with the agent who is transferring me to technical support.

    I bought this product because I expected some improvement in streaming and thus this product with dual bands (2.4 GHz and 5GHz). I see no improvement noir can I even access the 5 GHz.

    Waste of money!!!

    I bought the product in April and it started giving me problems in July. At the time I didn’t know the router was the problem until I called the company and was told I would be charge $100 dollars for a technician to help because the router isn’t working. I paid almost $180 for the router and it has t been 6 months before it’s a problem. This is insane!!! I suggest to never purchase this brand.....

    wifi only works part of the time and the unit really sucks after purchase i had to buy a service plan from netgear to even get it to work and the plan was more than the original purchase totally unstatisfied, below any stars minus ratings if i could rate minus 10 stars i would

    Never got return credit

    Upgraded to another but never was reimbursed by Geek guy who said he was returning it-Never got credited-very pooor service. I even asked him when he returned to our home to fix connections and he said it took 5-7 days to credit it back. It has been over 2 weeks! If you try to call you guys-recordings. Up until it was good service but still looking for credit back

    Seemed to work fine at first, then within one hour of getting it all set up & linked to our devices, it stopped working. The website would not allow us to log in due to a bogus timed out error & the admin log in password, which funny enough is the word "password" that the manufacturer preset, would not work either. Life is too short, buy a different brand. We had high hopes for this one based on other reviews, but the Netgear forums are full of complaints.

    This router lasted less than 8 months - online purchase was easy and the router had good features but very disappointed in the lack of longevity.

    This product promises a lot and delivers little. The 5g network drops off regularly which others have reported on the forums. The speeds coming out on wifi are about 1/2 of what is going into the unit. Technical support is only there to help if you are willing to sell a kidney to get it. If there is a commonly known issue with a product, then stand behind it and support it.
