    Buyer beware of store return policy.

    Do not buy this product. It failed in 3 weeks and could not reconnect after a factory reset. Multiple hours with tech support and they finally deemed the product defective. Best buy initially refused to return/replacement this items since it was longer than their usual 14day return period. Buyer beware of their return policy!!!! Item has since been exchanged for another brand by the store manager

    Router kept dropping signal, had to be reset everyday, great app though

    This device failed. I suspect it was due to the confined space where it was located with other devices. The heat from all the devices was considerable.

    Only brand of router that has ever been "broken" after having it for less than a year. 90 day technician help through Netgear but after that you have to pay 89.99 for 6 months of Tech Help..... Better off buying a new router. Will not buy anything Netgear ever again. Trash.

    This product was certainly not worth the money or aggravation that we had with it. We were told by NetGear agent that it had to be updated & even after having done that, it still wasn't working. We had our internet provider prove it was good, upgraded our Mbps by Best Buy rep, swapped our modem & much much more. It is now sitting in box. What a waste of money

    Worked 1 whole day before problems

    Brought home, hooked up, ran through the setup, worked fine for 1 day. Next morning it had crapped out. Returned it for an exchange of the same item thinking it may be an isolated incident, returned home, installed it, went through the setup once again, and was fine again for another day, Same result - crapped out within 24 hours. I don't know if there was a bad lot of these, but ended up returning for a refund and went with a Synology RT2600AC and have'nt had the first minutes trouble.

    terrible router im still have it but wish I would choose an Asus instead this router is so bad dropping network all the time

    Seems the AC Router is a good idea but consistently drops the signal so ends up being useless. I tried everything but with no luck and had to return it then went back to my N router. Set up wasn't as straight forward as it should be as well. Sometimes you can log into the setup and some times you can't.

    Was great fasted router ever while it worked it kept restarting and would never consistently work do not buy read tge reviews !

    After 2 years of use, the LAN ports, including the WAN [internet] port, no longer work. Only works via wifi. Bummer!

    I have had nothing but problems with this item. It has not worked properly since I purchased, but due to my schedule have been unable to return to the Best Buy where the purchase was made. This has impacted our ability to use appliances which we previously used with our old wireless router. I will be returning this item to the store, but I no longer have the box, etc. TERRIBLE purchase.

    Fair, cuts out often, Netgear wanted to charge us more to help with getting unit back up and running.

    Easiest Router Set-Up!!!

    My old netgear died after about 5 years...was dreading the set-up...passwords, etc. Netgear Genie...their software loaded onto my laptop from the router and within 10 minutes...I was up and running..Genie is a great management tool...easy to use for the basics..I have no idea what else people do with a router...,but if I need to change my wireless passwords....it is so ""easy peasy"...I cannot really comment on the range since I live in a small 1100 sq. ft. home...the signal appears very stable...need to test it a little more /w/ streaming videos, etc....love the fact I can shop online at nite and then do in-store pick-up the next day!!! Best Buy knows how to be efficient....

    Really regret not returning this when issues first popped up. Seems to drop 5g when a new a device hops on? Do a solid search for issues on this before purchase (then buy something else from another manufacturer - Orbi doesn't count). Even new firmware updates don't resolve to stubborn 5g drop issue.

    Sure, it has visual control of users (nice) BUT the net seems to be slower than w our Old Apple Airport that it replaced

    I was really disappointed in this router. Based on what I was told was expecting it to do everything I needed. The range was worse than my old Cisco router in the same exact spot that the Cisco had been located. For the money, I would recommend keeping your old router and going the cheaper route of purchasing a signal booster because this item will not do the job.....constantly drops the connection and has to be rebooted. Very poor quality product. Would not recommend to anyone, not even someone I do not like.
