AVOID THIS ROUTER

A waste of money!

Net gear No Longer a Good Choice……

Does not go through cinder block

It did not. I returned it. Other than that it was pretty cool. Three antenna, cool.

Dropped internet broadcast all the time!

Works when it wants to

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Nighthawk takes flight

All of our "older" devices run on 2.4Ghz while our newer on 5Ghz. I have to say the AC connection is lightning fast and a huge improvement from an N router. Beamforming is a noticeable benefit and it seems to greatly increase the range of the router. My computer is connected at 866Mbps constantly and provides effortless video streaming playback and lag-less online game play. I recommend this router to anyone that is looking to vastly improve their wifi range as well as speed and overall performance.

Fast modem

I have a 1,200 sq ft home that needed coverage from one end to the opposite end and this router fulfills that need. I have 14 products that are constantly utilizing the wi-fi signal at any given moment. Only once did I have an issue with the connection to which I am not even sure it was the router's fault. I haven't used the guest account capability, but seems very simple to set up. I just didn't want any unwanted persons connecting on my wi-fi service. In addition, I haven't used the free back-up storage either. In closing, I love it and its abilities, like the 802.11 ac technology. I just would have liked a cheaper price, but I am happy knowing that the technical aspects should last some time before I have to update to new equipment.

However after just over a year of use the 5 band frequency stopped working. Of course this device only has a one year warranty.
