I was recommended by a geek squad agent to upgrade to this router since I run a wireless security camera system that boggs down my wifi. since hooking this up everything runs smoothly. its able to handle video, streaming and everything else with ease.

Easy set up with great range of signal.

Great range of signal in that we have a two story house and concern regarding signal strength when upstairs. So far, no problems. I recommend considering this unit or brand of unit when shopping for a new or replacement router.

Faster but not by much

This nighthawk does run dual bands and never got congested. It did lock up and require a power cycle in my first four days. Then after running some benchmark tests I found my WiFi bandwidth did improve, but not too the extent that I had anticipated. I did return it.
