I use it only for wifi, with that being aid my phone still isn't as fast as it should be. Ps4 seems to work well on it though. I think that's an update on ps4s part though. All in all, I don't see a difference in speed or distance.

This is a terrible router with faulty firmware from the manufacturer. After spending over three hours on the phone with Netgear I was told that there was a known bug with this router that makes the 5 GHz network inoperable. Their solutions: 1. Wait for a firmware update. 2. Go out and buy their more expensive R8000 model. Netgear's support was unbelievable terrible and I will not be recommending their product line to anyone.

Got rid of the modem/router combo from my Internet provider and the signal is golden. Even got rid of my range extender, the Nighthawk is that good, way to go NETGEAR!

Has quick wifi and good range, lots of options in the firmware including parental controls and the ability to turn off Internet to individual devices.

Wifi covers 2000 sq ft home and outside in yard. Never have any trouble loading movies amazon stick you tube or music love this product

This router is great. Its super fast and i noticed alot faster and more stable connection than with a linkseys at the same price point.

I replaced an older wireless router and we are not experiencing any more errors when streaming shows to our TV. It's a big improvement.

no to happy with slow channels, price ok, have to restart router when connection my PS4 everyday. trouble getting wired new Apple TV to work wired have suffice with wifi only.

Works/preforms better than expected. We have 10 devices in our home and not one has downloading issues. Not one complaint.

This works great as a wireless router. It also has 4 wired ports. Excellent range. I am very happy with this product.

Got the to run instead of my att wireless and it sped it up a lil and doesnt bog down like the att wireless did.

It seems like sometimes the Wi-Fi signal on my wireless devices connects and disconnects at will. It would be nice if the Ethernet ports were configurable

I had been eyeing this router for a while. I got it during the Deal of the Day and couldn't be happier.

Reception is good and strong signal. For a 4000 sq ft home, I did find the range lacking slightly.
