To all, I had to return this item because I couldn’t get it to work. It turns out, when you purchase a new router, you must also call your cable company or whoever services your internet and have them register your router. - they didn’t explain this in the instructions on this model of router. However, the next router from the same company I purchased did. I give it one star because they didn’t explain this well enough.

    Poor Compatibility

I can confirm that this model is not compatible to Spectrum internet services... It kept disconnecting, regardless of what I do, even the tech support wasn't able to help out. I ended up returning it, grabbing the same unit again, but voila,..! It too has the same problem, there is a problem with its OS that is not compatible to Spectrum. Will not recommend it, too troublesome,...

    Wireless Drops

I bought this not even a week ago and the 5GHz wireless radio keeps dropping. It has gotten so bad that now even the 2.4 radio will not keep a connection. I've yet to have an issue with the wired ports, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Setup was easy and the user interface is much friendlier than that of the Arris, so it is very disappointing to have the problems I am

In 2 months I went through 3 of these modems. 1st one right out of box no internet, 2nd one lost 5g internet within a week, 3rd on lost all internet after a month. Either I'm the most unluckiest person on the planet or there's a design flaw with these modem/router combos. (Think too much heat frying circuitry) Will try separate combinations next.

This router has only halfway worked since I purchased it 2 1/2 months ago. I haven’t even paid it off yet. Trying to contact support to return it to the company, as I can no longer return it to the store. Sub-par all around.

Purchased this item since it was the best they had, well the best in failure rate. Luckily we had purchased the extra coverage. We picked up another one. I am hoping It performs for much longer than 20 days.

This router/modem works beautifully and much better than the previous Arris models I used for some years. Range is great and is lasting longer. Very pleased with the performance.

    This Thing is Trash

Please look at a different option. I have spent the last 4 days trying to keep the WiFi from going down. I replaced cables, changed channels several times. The WiFi stays connected for a few minutes and goes down again. As of this morning I am returning this piece of trash. I get up this morning, in the router I am connected, but my phone, iPad, and Apple TV says connected but I have no service. I’m going back to arris because it’s always dependable. Also, I would like to add that EVERY article I found about this problem showed the number one solution is to return it and get something more reliable.

Did Not Work with Ring Camera

    Posted .

The extender did not connect with my Ring outdoor camera, or android phone. It did connect to my MSI laptop and Apple tablet. Instructions are not very good, and customer service not only takes forever to answer but did not provide enough help for the problem. Customer service should have recommended to download new firmware immediately. Even with the newest firmeare, the camera never saw detected this netgear extender which made the whole experience a waste of money and time. Ended up returning the product.
