Bought this to replace a router my son purchased and took when he went off to school. Have been very pleased with the router and like that is has two available signals.

Easy to connect, reliable but bulky. Strong signal.

I went through 3 more expensive Linksys routers that didn't work before giving up on Linksys and getting this Netgear router. It can handle all of our gaming, small electronics, streaming, smart Tv's and all our home security and surveillence tech all at the same time without slowing down or getting glitchy.

I love this so far. I had to unplug my last one every 2 weeks to reset. Have owned this one for almost 2 months and haven't had to do it yet. The speed is great compared to old routers. Still get a pretty big drop from connected speed. Pulling 160 mbps connected and 90 a room away. It's expensive but worth the money.

My cable/internet technician recommended this when my ancient router failed. Expensive but worth the investment.

This router allows me to stream Netflix on 3 different Tv's at the same time without a hiccup. My 3 year old router left dead spots through out the house. After setting this up in 10 minutes, all of our Wi-Fi problems were gone. I didn't need to upgrade my download speeds....just needed the new stronger router.

The sales representative actually talked us out of a more expensive model. This router is great for our needs.

Had spots in the house where WiFi worked great, but in other rooms the signal was intermittent. We upgraded to this router and now get a strong signal throughout the house. I always wait for my husband to install anything technical, but he was out of town. I had it installed and set up in just a few minutes!

I had slow internet and kept blaming the provider. When I went to Best Buy the employee explained the difference between the router and modem. After he asked how many devices we had in our house, he pointed me in the right direction. Since using the new router our internet is so fast. You cannot go wrong with Netgear!

This router was a good upgrade for us as we needed something to handle more devices and this did the trick.

Installed this router to take the place of the u-verse wireless. Pretty easy setup. Took about 20 min to turn of the wireless on the u-verse and get the Netgear going. The range is far greater now. I can now get great service anywhere in the house unlike before. The house is about 2300 sqft. I am pleased with it.

I am well pleased with my purchase. The wifi is great and I can have several on at one time and it still performs well.

I was impressed right out of the box at ease of set up and the speed of the Nighthawk X4S AC2600 Smart WiFi Router. Had a bit of trouble getting it to sync up, but a call to NETGEAR Tech support fixed that!! I was unaware of how slow my old router was! The Nighthawk was just what I needed for all my wifi needs!!

On a COMCAST setup (which has been in place for a few years now) the MEASURED rate via Speetest.net is now 100Mbps (!!!!) On the previous router (admittedly a few years old) the highest rate was 20Mbits/sec. Intra-CPU in the house is well over 1Gbits/sec .. would be faster if the desktops had the latest MIMO.

Was a little more than I wanted to spend but after using it at home glad I spent the money. Great product.

Netgear router type AC covers my wireless network access some much better than my previous type N router.

I didn't realize how much difference a great router makes for streaming. This nighthawk has radically changed my wifi strength/reliability. It is so strong that my roku is two floors above the router but video streaming doesn't miss a beat. I highly recommend upgrading your router to this nighthawk X4S model

This router was a good upgrade after four years of with my previous one. Now I'm getting the speeds advertised by my internet provider. I was disappointed it would not let my apple products become extenders. Also, the interface is clunky. Wait for it...yes, you have to be patient when making software changes in this interface, but it does happen. Overall happy, especially with pickup in speed.
