This is the second Netgear router that I have bought. After a lightning strike at our house, several electronics were not functional, including the router. I liked it so much that I bought the same router again. It allows for multiple devices to be used with no slow down. I am happy with this purchase.

I was using a Motorola Surfboard and the signal kept fading. I bought this NetGear router and used my modem for my landline and have had no problems since! WiFi signal reaches all the way upstairs and even though I have extenders I may not need them!

We desperately needed an upgrade with our home router, and the Nighthawk hasn't disappointed. It wasn't at all what I had in mind after doing some research on my own, but the rep at Best Buy was extremely helpful. This was a less expensive option and now my family of five can all be online without issue.

This is what we needed for a 2 story home and multiple device household. It is the first router we have purchased that we are able to use throughout the entire house. We have gone through 3 routers previously to this one and 2 extenders which really didn't extend the signal. Yes it is pricey but definetly worth it.

The Netgear X4S may have some goofy advertisements that lean a little heavy on the “hey gamers this is the gaming router for 4K gamers like you” rhetoric, but thankfully it’s also got the performance to back its bark up. Overall then, the Nighthawk X4S takes three step forwards (design, performance, and reliability), with only one minor step back (aging software in dire need of an update).

Had to replace an older NetGear router damaged via a lightning strike. My experience with my older NetGear "N" router was positive so I decided to go with the Nighthawk. The setup was easy and the Router works well with 7-8 devices attached. The range is a bit improved but, not dramatic. I do like the option to turn off all lights (except the power lamp). All in all, I'm pleased.

You cannot Beat the bang for the buck on this. Big range good speeds. Great buy!

This Netgear Nighthawk router is great if you have multiple devices that require WiFi.,works great.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router has performed flawlessly since I installed it a month ago. It replaces a previous router which caused constant frustration due to daily dropouts. The Nighthawk X4S has been a solid, dependable improvement. I highly recommend it.

Netgear makes the best routers for the money spent! We outgrew the last router with all the devices we use in the home. After upgrading to this latest router, the family is amazed at the constant speed and accessibility they have for streaming and gaming at the same time all throughout the house!

I replaced a Netgear R7000 that died so how does it rank. A+ I have yet to max it out yet but have came close i stream every thing in my house 4k tv phones computers game systems. Wifi siginal is great my house is 2 floors with a basement 5G is strong and the range on the 2.4 is even better.

Very nice unit for home use. Proven to be very durable and reliable as it has not dropped a signal a single time. Now, I would recommend a more robust router with added security features if you are looking for something for commercial use.

Works well. We have it on the second floor. There are still some issues with using it in other areas of the home, but it's better than our old one.

I was truly surprised and happy at how this router drastically improved my internet connectivity.

I'm sure the fact my last router purchase was over 4 years ago may have had something to do with my speed, but wow! I put the phones on the 2ghz and the TVs on the 5. Strong signal at all points and no lag in movies. All this with the router hidden away in the useless cupboard over the fridge.

The range and speed can not be beat for the price when it was on sale

Purchased because my motorola modem/router seemed to be struggling to get 5g throughout the entire house, after adding the nighthawk we now have full 5g in every room and level of the house. Set up was a simple and has all the advanced settings(that I need) to complete all our network features

Needed a new router since ours died. Has good coverage and performs well.

This has been a great product. This product has met all of my expectations. Highly recommend.
