    I've been using the cheap, non-tech modem that Brighthouse (Spectrum) forces on folks. My husband was less than 50 feet from my office and could NOT keep a Wi-Fi connection. Since buying this product (recommended by my favorite tech at our Best Buy - Sebastian - in Wesley Chapel, FL) - my husband's connection has not dropped once! Great price for a great product.
