This router has been working great. We get great coverage from it and can access our wireless network from our backyard. It is of course, password protected. It took a little bit of time to install but I was able to complete the installation all by myself.

It was easy to set up. Seems to be working just fine.

I am very happy that I talked to the Best Buy tech before making my selection, he was very thorough and listened to what I needed,tben pointed the Netgear out to me. It was exactly what I needed.

We all know that internet companies give you the most basic modems they have. I use the NightHawk x4s as a pass through router and shut the companies modem down. Faster online gaming, faster mobile wifi... need I say more? You won't be disappointed

The Nighthawk X4S router provided the necessary boost needed to compensate for the inadequate service that we currently have in our WIFI provider! I no longer have to keep adding data to our cell phone plans because we now have consistent WIFI!

This router performed better than my expectation. It seems to pull the maximum bandwidth from my gateway modem. My only knock is that the mobile app does not provide full control of the router and the built-in web form does not render completely on a mobile device. Maybe these issues will be addressed in updates?

Best Buy manager recommended this unit after telling him what I was doing with needing wifi & streaming capability for outdoor building for security cameras tv etc.. wifi range is awesome!!! Great choice little expensive but well worth it!!!!

My house has lots of gaming consoles & smart phones & tablets that my regular Comcast router was just not enough. This router has been absolutely amazing every room gets a great wifi signal

I am very pleased with the Netgear Nighthawk. It does what it says it does. We don't have the best internet service for where we live, but I know that for it to run my computer, the phones and the tablet and PS2 with poor internet, it is an awesome piece of equipment to have when you have great internet. Thank you, Jen!!

Have ten devices running off this with no problem at all. Well worth the money. Used to have to shut off devices to create capacity especially when I was working from home on laptop

By replacing my previous Linksys router(only 2 years old and cost $250) with this unit, I solved my wifi issues. So far I've had no issues with the router. It was a bit annoying to set up due to the "forced use of net gear app" to set up. Also no WPS button. Everything must be done thru the NetGear app.

The netgear was easy to set up, and worked well right away. The only downside was the anticipation that my whole house would be covered by the router. Unfortunately there are still weak spots at the far end of the house. This probably is not the routers fault as much as having too big of a house.

After reviewing different routers I decided to purchase this instead of the AC1900. Awesome router. No more buffering issues with streaming videos. Handles multiple devices running at the same time with no problem. Two thumbs up for me.

We moved to a new house & found that our old router didn’t have enough range to cover the new distance required. Instead of buying a WiFi extender, we upgraded to this router & it solved all of our connectivity problems.
