I bought this router to extend the range from our old one and for my child's friends to use when they came over to game. I get infrequent outages and it's hard to tell if it's the router or Charter. Lots of settings so not something for a beginner.

This solved my random signal drop outs and improved my signal coverage too. BB had the best sale on it and I can't say much more. In comparing price point and data speed standards... This was the best bang for the buck!

This router is great at handling all my network traffic. Between games, streaming, torrents, and general internet surfing this thing has been getting some miles on it and has been able to handle anything we have thrown at it

I had a older router that was not strong enough to reach all parts of my home, so after a little research I choose the NetGear X4s router. It works well for all rooms in my home so it is a big improvement over what I had.

we have been very happy with this we have had it about a month and have very bad internet reception even though we have the best you can get. this works great with the modem we got with it. The netgear 3.0 cable modem

We have a 3 story house and the Router is on the First FLOOR! We could move it but I changed over to Xfinity and wiring was on the first floor. The signal is just as strong on the 3rd floor as the first floor!

I now have Wifi throughout my entire home, which was the main reason for the purchase. I do sometimes have to switch bands because one will get bogged down but it's not enough to give the router less than 5 stars.

My home has fiber optic Internet and tv with many different devices but our Apple airport could not meet the demands. The nighthawk provides great wi-fi performance to all parts of my 3 level house. Easy to set up.

Great router for our customer. We were installing a video surveillance system for them and the NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4S Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router assisted with the installation and worked great!

I moved from the R8000 to the R7800 with no regrets. Coverage wise it's the same but total 5G output beats the R8000 hands down. If you use more 5G than 2.4G in your house then this is the router to get!

Have used several different routers; this is by far the best for my home. I am even able to use my wifi in my back yard now. With previous routers I was not able to get anywhere close to the distance I now have.

i was using comcast modem and router which is located in the bedroom closet. i was having wifi drop outs on wireless connections. but now i get over 150 abs wifi connection with this router. great product

Signal strength is much stronger than my old Netgear wifi router but that's not surprising considering the difference in price. I only paid this much because I had a BestBuy credit for $200 that I hadn't used for a year.

This Nighthawk X4S Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router is working well for my 2400 square foot home. So far so good and I am impressed with all the items we use and still do not have any slow downs.

This was one of the routers I purchased before my current system. The WiFi was great when close but it lacked in distance. If you have a small home or don’t need connection in all areas this is for you. I wouldn’t recommend for large homes.

We returned this item because it was only a router not a modem. Its great for what it is but we needed a modem, we exchanged it for a modem and it worked perfectly. Just beware this is a router only!

The last router I had was terrible I would have to disconnect it every once in a while and this router hasn't given me any issues so far. I use my Xbox on the wifi from a pretty far distance and my connection is solid haven't had any lagging issues or disconnection

Have had some issues with reaching as far as I need it to. Same as my $20 one. It is much faster but band width would probably be improved if I was a professional and new how to use technology like this... I do not. So far so good. Wish someone would help me with this.

Works as advertised with great speeds and good range. My previous router did not have MU-MIMO technology, and I can definitely see the bump in simultaneous streaming performance with this router.

This router works very well but not that much better then units priced $50 or $75 less. I tried it because of distance from router to other end of residence, which it covers most of the time. Netflix streams well at a distance of 25 yards, but not to good at 40 yards.
