Range is just ok. Nice features such as airprint and accessing a usb device when connected to the router. For the price I was expecting extended range. It barely covers my 2700 sq. feet home.

Added router to netgear modem and still have trouble with range and speed. Both are placed in a central location of house and it has trouble connecting to room next door, plus speeds are just as fast as modem/router I had with cable company

Bought this for our new house. Does good on bottom floor but signal is spotty/weak in some areas on second floor. Was recommended this product by stores salesperson based on my description of our house and this is what they suggested.

I bought this to replace an Apple router and was really impressed with the features, but it lacked polish and I was surprised at how user unfriendly it was, I returned to Best Buy and continue to use my Apple Airport Extreme.

I did a lot of troubleshooting on this device. I did like all of the bells and whistles that came with it but as far as it increasing the speed or reach of service, it had no effect on it. I eventually returned it.

Poor signal strength. We have a 2000sq foot home and we can't get signal downstairs or even a few feet outside the home. Very disappointed especially for the price

Was disappointed with proclaimed ease of setup. ISP suggested a different manufacturer and Linksys worked just fine. Would have probably worked if could get it setup correctly but never got to that point.

Bought to replace a slower router, but within a day (on the latest firmware) all of our wired devices intermittently dropped connection. Ended up returning it, and I no longer have ethernet issues

The router worked good for half of the house, but couldn't cover the whole house. I wound up returning and replacing with Google access point. Better unit for my house.

struggled with across the house access ... tried extender ... etc. Finally replaced the 4 year ols wireless router with this one. Still not a solid signal (3 or 5)

We had difficulty with this router and called technical Support for help. The foreign staff had unusual difficulty with language requiring tech to repeat just about every question. Communication was even more complicated by the pauses in line connection ... likely via internet. We replaced connecting cables, reset the devices multiple times and spent nearly two wearisome hours and still did not resolve issue. They only decided to blame the modem and internet provider. STINKS

Bought a smart TV and was advised I needed one of these Netgear Nighthawk X4S. Who knows? Sometimes my TV will stream, sometimes not.

I do not know the quality of the product, although the salesperson recommended it, because I needed a router/modem combo and this was only a router.

Bought this to try to better the wifi at home. There are times when we still have trouble with the wifi. Wish it didn't cost so much.

I pretty much know how to do this stuff as hook up but this was hard to figure out I am still not getting the strength I should be out of it.

Reboots two to three times daily. Thought it was downloading updates but after two weeks...that would be LOTS of updates.

I was told it was one of the best routers,however, It seems to be slower then the one from the cable company.

I haven’t had to unplug and plug back in for a long while now. It seems it’s the right size for my home

I can not get this thing to work with my wifi if I don't get better speed from it it will go back

Can't locate network, have tried and tried. Plug back in to old router and all good. Not sure what to do.
