Although rather expensive, I've found it to be well worth the cost. It was very easy to setup, super fast transmission speeds on both the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands and the range is phenomenal compared to anything else I have tried (and I've tried several).

Purchased for my parents who have a large house and had been have connection issues. Has excellent range and speeds over WiFi.

Currently I have Netgear router but signal quality becomes very poor in my bedroom so got this one hoping to have full bars but still struggling to get excellent signals across the house even though I have very small house but three levels.

Pretty good router, the set-up could be a bit easier but so far I've had no dead spots in the house and I don't need my Wi-Fi range extender. Definitely recommend moving to a router that supports 5G if you have an older model that does not.

I was having trouble with a very weak wifi signal in my home.. I purchased this router and installed and now my wifi signal is powerful and no more dead spots. One rocking wifi router. So happy is my wife the children and me.

My wife and I were looking for a product that would improve reception in other rooms and one that would have extra ethernet ports to direct wire some of our electronics. This item fit the bill and to our delite was on sale.

This is a very good router with great range. Easy setup. I have setup several of these routers and have never had a problem with any of them.

We have a large colonial home and so far so good for multiple floors...this router definately serves a wide range of area. Easy to install.

This was my first time buying a router and I was very skeptical. I did a lot of research before purchasing. In the end, I was able to pick a great router. I had no issues installing and going on line. I would recommend this router to everyone!

We paid top dollar, but it works great. We have 2 stories and previously needed signal boosters throughout, but now we can get by with just this one!

I recently purchased this router and we have about about 20 devices that range from Smart TV's, a gaming computer and 2 gaming consoles, and about 8 phones, 3 tablets, and another mac book. This WiFi router has MORE than enough range when it comes to making sure every device has enough WiFi coverage. Thankfully to the MIMO feature, I am able to never lose coverage on the gaming computer, the work computer, and the Smart TV as well.

Although there may be better routers on the market, this router has more than exceeded my expectation for range and performance.

I have had several Cisco/Linksys routers. Always had to call tech support every time. The last time was the worst. I swore off the company the last time because of customer support. After reading many reviews on different routers I zero in to Netgear, and this is the one that the Best Buy employee has. (I ask, he didn't volunteer that info.) Easy to set up, no tech support needed. Works great. Better range than my old router. Thus the five stars. For home owners and small business owners, Netgear is the way to go.

Now that I have everything set up correctly, the router is wonderful. It has enough strength to completely paint the house in a wifi signal and I get decent download strength from everywhere I might want to get online. It is also nice having multiple bands with the number of devices we have running at any one time. My only negative is figuring out how to set up legacy devices so they do not dump offline was a pain. There is no real "manual" to solve this type of problem and netgear support is largely useless. The solution, it turns out, is downgrade the speed on the 2.4 GHz band if you have old devices.

When I moved in, my things, including work station was set more around an area further away from the WiFi. All my online activities were pretty poor bc of it. This fixed that problem by a large margin. It performs normally now for the most part. Some connection issues here and there but the performance is much more consistent and good. I can upload and download files much quicker, stream and online game just fine for the most part,

I live in a multilevel home with four levels plus basement. My previous AC router did not reach everywhere. This one reaches all corners of the home with both bands. I attribute this to the six antennas. Parental controls allow limiting access if needed. ReadySHARE makes backing up devices easy. I have a WD MyBackup it allows direct connect for doing backups. This router also has USB for connecting devices without network ports. I like the Guest Network which allows granting Internet access to visitors without access to my internal network. DDNS is also available.
