My Asus Router died after 3 years, so I needed a new one that would hit all three levels of my house (one being a basement). It does that and more! No disconnects of wifi after two weeks of ownership. The router is on my third floor and reaches the basement without any problem on any of the available bands. Most important thing is streaming for my daughter and ourselves, and havent had a problem with buffering whatsoever. Best Buy also price matched with Amazon without me asking, that's customer service!

I'm pretty sure my neighbors could stream a movie on my signal if they could login to my network. I upgraded my internet speeds and have blazing fast wifi in every corner of my house. The Netgear app is awesome. It gives great analytics and the ability to see (and turn on or off) every device connected to it. This is helpful with unknown devices or when the kids need a break! It was simple to setup and control.

This router provides the speed and multi-function needs for a busy home office and supports many streaming devices at one time.

I needed a good router for home & business use. We have about 15 wireless items running off this router (not all at the same time). Router keeps up, security is great, I would purchase another one if needed.

I like how it looks and performs. Very easy to set up.

I have connected 22 devices and very satisfied with router. (10 devices are wired including 2 time capsules & 12 wireless.) setup is very easy. Netgear may not provide any free support for setup. Once your device is connected with router then installation will start automatically if not then it will require to open browser in the device & go through routerlogin.net.

Live in a house with 5 adults, this router carries 2 gaming systems, 4 computers, and a number of iPads and iPhones without fail. The multiple bands makes it easy to coordinate how to distribute the usage.

Works great with the exception of a software glitch. One of the setup boxes which turn green if all is OK stays red. Does not affect operation. But, no fix yet or expected according to NETGEAR tech support.

Pleased with performance and ease in setting up. Great tutorial so even if your not tech saavy it will help you get surfing.

Works well. Did need to hardware to my laptop which I had problems with as no Ethernet connection on my MacBook Air. Once I got online with our other laptop, we were golden.

I thought this would really solve our problem of weak wifi signal throughout our house, which is not particularly large. Unfortunately between the place where we have to have the router and the nature of our older home's plaster walls, we are stuck with fairly weak signal in half the home. It's about 2x better than the Optimum router that company provides, but it's not booming like I had hoped. C'est la vie until I can figure out a way to move the router to a better location.

I had 2 linksys routers that worked fine for a while, but would after a couple of months, then stop working. I got fed up with them and decided to buy the best one out there. This was recommended to me and I am very happy with it.

Upgraded my equipment to handle additional devices and improve streaming performance. I also upgraded my modem, so far so good. I do notice the range is not very good, so I need to contact support as my previous router had very good range.

Allowed wifi access in areas of my home originally unable to get it. Really helped with gaming and streaming throughout the house.

Purchased this to replace my old old wireless router, tested speeds before and after replacing. Before speeds avg. of 9Mb/s after 61Mb/s. Defiantly recommend this product!!

This router overall had been wonderful. Between the tri band interface speeds are not only consistent but incredibly quick. Had to replace an aging Linksys router and glad I went with this Netgear. The administrator interface is nice but I do feel they could make it better especially with some advanced features. Overall A+

I was about to purchase a wifi extender, but the best buy associate listened to why I was looking for the extender. He advised that I purchase a new more powerful router instead and it definitely worked!
