After surviving the sticker shock, we installed this router at our small business. The setup was a breeze and the customization we had to do was equally simple. We are non-techy people, so the simplicity was a plus. The router is our primary gateway to everything in the office ... wifi devices, ethernet computers, an VOIP phone system and Apple TV. Great product.

After having multiple speed issues with my old modem and router I took the advice of the best buy associate and separated the two. I went with this router and have been completely impressed. Very easy to set up, and no issues with speed! I run numerous smart home products, stream tv, have multiple tablets and phone with the kids and no issues. Upgrade the modem and router and you won't regret it!

Upgraded internet service and needed a stronger router that could handle the new speeds. It took 2 attempts to setup but the first was my fault thinking it worked like a normal router but actually needed to follow their directions. At any given time there is 6+ devised streaming on the 5g bands with no noticeable declines in speeds on any of them.

Router is loaded with features, from DDNS (Dynamic DNS) and OpenVPN to innovative use of the WiFi radios to maximize throughput on wireless clients. Super easy setup and configuration. DDNS was simple to setup, as was the Open VPN. Great coverage over my whole house, even into my bedroom which is as far from the router as you can get within my house. Very happy with the purchase so far!

Once I realized that my home had become a "connected" home, the need for a more capable router was evident. I am very pleased with my choice and I can honestly say I don't regret this purchase at all.

A $90 router would do almost as good a job. But if you have the money, this does work a little bit better. You get great wi -fi coverage.

The best router I've had out of 5 different routers, the best range, speed and use of devices

OK so out of the box the router took a little more setup than I would have liked, but now I enjoy the router. The genie function is nice to use. The privacy functions are little tough to toggle between.

The wifi is expensive yet it's worth it. It's like one time purchase. The speed and the coverage is excellent.

Setup the device is not that hard. With 3 wifi channels and powerfull attennas it would do the job for me. we have many devices and cameras with large living area (6000 square feet)

first off, looks very cool (mini space-ship) great addition to my desk in office. i have a 3 story house and wifi signal hits every room.

This covers my 2500+ sq house + basement with strong signal. My old router was getting maybe 30 Mbps download speed. All I changed was I switched to this router and now I get 110+ Mbps download. It's more expensive than other routers, but totally worth a try if you aren't getting the speeds you should get from your provider.

The speed and range are amazing on this router. The Triband is like having three routers in one because you can connect different devices to their own band and not big the router down

Very good and fast router. Netgear has done much better recently with software and mobile app integration but the core browser based interface is badly in need of a meaningful update. It does most tho ha you’d expect a router in this class to do, but lacks the elegance and tightly integrated add-ons of say a Synology router.

Descent router overall, Bought it to improve on my streaming to reduce buffering. Sorry to say it did not help at all. I feel that my older Dual Band N-router actual did better than this one for streaming and this one is a Tri-Band that was supposed to improve in that area. Sorry to say it has left a little disappointed. If you are looking for improved streaming this would not be my first choice. I think Net Gear slipped on this one.
