Setup the device is not that hard. With 3 wifi channels and powerfull attennas it would do the job for me. we have many devices and cameras with large living area (6000 square feet)

Descent router overall, Bought it to improve on my streaming to reduce buffering. Sorry to say it did not help at all. I feel that my older Dual Band N-router actual did better than this one for streaming and this one is a Tri-Band that was supposed to improve in that area. Sorry to say it has left a little disappointed. If you are looking for improved streaming this would not be my first choice. I think Net Gear slipped on this one.

first off, looks very cool (mini space-ship) great addition to my desk in office. i have a 3 story house and wifi signal hits every room.

The speed and range are amazing on this router. The Triband is like having three routers in one because you can connect different devices to their own band and not big the router down

My wife picked this router up for me as a surprise and what a surprise it is! Straight out of the box and plugged in and hooked up, it worked without flaw. I have been wanting to use a VPN and with this router, the VPN resides within. This gives everyone on my network the privacy and security that everyone should have. My VPN service offers 6 devices that it can run on. With having 1 on the router, the only other devices that need protected is our family's cell phones and we still have two devices that can use the service. This is great for when we want to travel as we can use the VPN service on our laptops! This router has a triple network setup. You are able to use 2.4Ghz for those devices that are in the far corners of the house and use the 5.8Ghz for the devices that are closer to the router. We have three TV's, three cell phones, two or three laptops, 20+ hue lights, logitech hub, xbox, appletv and a few others that I can't remember, all running at the same time, with NO lag! Yes, this router is a little more expensive...but it is worth every penny. Spend a little extra and get this router for all your networking needs. It will not disappoint! REMEMBER: Your internet connection is only as fast and reliable as what your ISP connection is. This router will give you every bit of speed that your ISP allows you to have!

I share the home network with 4 other room mates, so you can imagine how much competition there is for the network. This router handles it all while keeping me on top of my PC gaming.

I upgraded to the Nighthawk X6 and what a huge difference! All devices picked up transfer speeds. Definitely the best router I've ever had.

It was plug and play. Area covered was whole house and speed was excellent.

I previously had an at&t modem/router for wireless. Getting a signal downstairs was sketchy. With this Nighthawk router with multi-directional antennas, the signal is always there.

Was getting 3 mps connection speed before upgrading to this. After installing this was getting 289 mps connection speeds. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone

I was looking for a router to extend the range of my WiFi. My router is located on the first floor of one side of the house and the opposite side, second floor was barely getting any signal and low very low internet speeds. This router extended the range as well as speed. Where I was getting 1-2 mbps and barely any signal, I am getting 2 out of 3 bars of signal and 40 mbps.

Works great, my speeds increased significantly. It was super easy to setup as well.
