This is my second nighthawk router. Nighthawk is the best! Loved my first one. This is just to update to a newer version because the other one lasted forever! So far this one is running like a champ. I have so much stuffed hooked up to this and it runs like a champ. Netgear makes great products and I have never been disappointed!!! Love my new router!

I'm able to use this router without problem, big family with a lot of visitors, everyday using between 3 laptops, 1 server tower, 4 TV, & 8 smartphones.

I bought this to replace my AC1200, my teenage kids had enough of the slow response and movie pauses & game interruption's. I bought this after talking to the very knowledgeable Best Buy associates. They answered all my questions, with out having to ask someone else. Thing is I do this kind of stuff for work. I do a lot of research before I buy. So they passed my test. After bringing it home I couldn't get it to work. My computer is old an had to update a lot of stuff. Still no go. I called the company, took awhile but finally got through. They told me to take the unit back to Best Buy, Best Buy was very attentive to my needs an replaced it without question. I brought the replacement home hooked it up and that's all I needed to do. it took care of everything. (the updates helped too) This unit is in my basement I have a raised ranch house. I say this to tell you of how it covers the whole house and to the street which is over 300 ft away. It goes through the concrete with no problem. My son who has the PS4, and Xbox, use to complain, now he is amazed on how fast the games react. before their was the lag time. All my Wi-Fi using kids are happy, my wife is happy, I'm happy. As the sales associate told me this is gonna rock your world. I must admit it has. Now I hate it when I use Wi-Fi anywhere else. Hope this helps. I've read where some hate Best Buy. But I've only had great experiences with them. If something is wrong they correct it, right away. I can't say enough about how they treat me when I walk in the door needing to purchase electronics. They have my back.

The Netgear Nighthawk is loaded with features and options that allow you to set and operate device for whatever your specific needs and preferences are. Good product.

Having to move backward to satellite internet after having REAL high speed is a challenge...especially in our new house which has lots of exposed brick walls and nooks and crannies. But this router has allowed us to make the most of it and since installation, we've had zero dropped service issues and get full bars everywhere in the over 3,000 sq ft house. The tri-band is worth the few extra $$
