My previous version of this router lasted about 4 years. I looked into other routers and this model was the only one that did not require satellites throughout the house. With the Blackhawk App I was able to set up the new router in about 15 minutes. There was some confusion at first that required a full reset once I did that all went well.

I love the distance and how fast and reliable my wifi has been. Always brag about it and share it with guests and I see their jealousy. I highly recommend this item

We upgraded to this router and are now able to maintain wifi connection on all 4 levels of my house without any issues.

I’m not very technologically inclined and was looking for a new router that would have better range for our new house (we graduated from apartment life yea). With that being said, the Best Buy employee recommended this router and we went with it. Set up was easy and the range is much better than our previous one so we’re happy. We have had it for about 2 months now.

Replaced a standard Cocast/Xfinity/ router with this, and noticed the difference immediately. Coverage is outstanding, good signal strength anywhere in my home. Even with multiple phones, tablets and streaming devices operating simultaneously, never a glitch. In cases like this, paying a bit more for a high-quality router will absolutely be worth it.

I have comcast extreme 400 and I put my grey modem on bridge mode and I’m getting 400 plus mbps. I used the netgear genie and used the smart settings. I didn’t select the QOS setting. That seems to restrict my speeds to around 150 to 170 mbps when I did my speed test in speedtest.net. I left everything else as is and my speeds are phenomenal. Great buy

The price is a little high, but it does the job! If you have a lot of devices that depend on the wifi then this is the one for you. The setup was a breeze, although my husband had to contact netgear to set it up as Time Warner wasnt able to do so. I think the reason was because I had upgraded to Windows 10, which i regret doing. My grandson can now play his Xbox 1 upstairs with no issues.

This is a great router for the price. Works great with my Motorola modem and best thing you can decide where you want to add your electronics. I have a upstairs and downstairs and old router couldn't reach upstairs without a extended router. That still didn't guarantee good connection to my devices. This router I haven't had to worry about buffering and connecting issues since I changed routers.

Had this for a month. First one we got broke after a few days (perhaps defective?) Seems to be running pretty good and has nice features. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.

I needed more range and I had good luck with a previous Netgear Router, so I upgraded to this one and it I am very satisfied. I would recommend it.

needed a new router to get wi fi coverage for the whole house. this router did that and more. now have full coverage inside and outside in my yard.

THis router was fairly simple to set up. It is handling 3 computers, 2 laptops 1 Ipad, 3 apple phones and 3 roku boxes and a fire tv.. Everything is working fine. We are all working on Zoom and there is no problem. On rare occasion the WIFI goes off but I quickly revconnect on the Netgear Genie.

Speed and range are great. My whole house is covered without use of range extenders

The summary is really all that needs to be said, but it is excellent! I'm a college student, my roommate is a Youtuber (and I mean he is someone who actually makes content) who uses a lot of bandwidth and another who has a recording studio in our basement that also requires a lot of bandwidth as well. All three of us can be working on our own things and have no issues! GREAT router!

This is one awesome router. Has great speed and signal strength.
