Used to replace xfinity modem/router. I did need to buy a separate cable modem to attach the nighthawk, but well worth it.

Overall good router for home. Good speed and easily setup

Great product and was as easy to set up as stated. There are probably lots of tech things you can with this router but we set up 14 WiFi devices and 9 direct connect. Be sure to change the original passwords. Set the router, a Nighthawk switch and cable modem.

Lets make one thing clear yes it is an expensive router but after all the trouble i had with other routers i am very happy i paid for this. Speeds are fast connecting to the wifi is fast this is a must buy if you want great speeds and fast connections or are a gamer.

This router performs as advertised. It increased our WiFi reception in the furthest edges of our house.

Wireless access from every room (two story 2500 sq ft home), front porch, and back patio with high speed internet. No slow spots anywhere in the house or yard. Handles 3 high usage people with tons of streaming and downloads at the same time.

I work out of my home office, with two computers and a tablet, an internet phone and three televisions, the cable box and an Apple TV. . We have several other devices - laptops and tablets, and wireless printers. 20 or so devices that could be online or streaming at the same time. After we installed this unit, our networking response problems disappeared. It was very easy to install and our devices all connected to the unit seamlessly. The security seems pretty standard, and I feel as secure as one can feel these days. We have cable internet, and we see consistently high upload and download speeds, another huge improvement over our previous wireless router. We really couldn't afford to continue with our old router, as I rely heavily on connectivity for my work at home. if you have bandwidth and other home network streaming problems you should consider this unit as a strong solution for a home wireless network. It's not the most expensive model on the market. And there are others with more horsepower. This one works great for us.

After reading netgear nighthawks reviews and help with the sales assoc. I was well informed in order to make a wise decision in purchasing this product. The night hawk was easy to install, works thru out the the home, and have many devises running at the same time. One of the best purchases made to date.

In a very large house it works fine but the signals weaken faster than let to believe along the greatest distance from the wifi.

Alec showed me the difference speakers can make. So I upgraded my tv with a sound bar and my stereo with two new speakers!

We have a lot of devices (xbox, laptops, iphones, ipads, smart TVs) using this router and it seems to handle the traffic very well.

Look no further. This router is a powerhouse. Our big home had some dead spots with our last router, this one fixed that issue with no problem. Now everyone in our 2000+ house can get wifi with no deadspots. Kids happy makes mom happy. Very easy to install. Easy set up.

I love the multiple band widths. This gives you the capabilities of assigning certain devices to a designated band.

I initially wanted to buy a wireless extender but was having some trouble with it and decided to pick this up. Bursting I realize with this of the great product and did exactly what I need to do and gave me Internet and every piece of the house and I need it

Purchased this off a few online reviews. So far no complaints, Now the initial price point was high, but come Christmas time the price dropped so I jumped on it. I will probably see about contacting my internet provider or the Geek Squad to work out some minor issues but overall great buy...

Had issues reaching the whole house with previous router. I put this on the first floor where we run a roku, 3 or 4 phones and an ipad and Alexa. In the basement we have 2 ps4's a laptop cpu and another phone. All hooked up wirelessly with no issues so far
