Worked Very Well For 11 Months

I purchased this router at the start of the 2020 lockdown, since my old router was not going to cut it for working from home. The coverage is excellent, reaching every device in my house with ease, including the wireless cameras outside. We have had no issues with devices losing connectivity, and no speed dips, even under heavy usage with multiple devices. Then, suddenly, 11 months later, it started flaking out roughly once per day, requiring a reboot each time. I have reached out to support to see if they are releasing a firmware update to deal with this, but at this point, I do not recommend this model.

I don’t think there’s a better router out there for the price. This router is absolutely awesome. The Internet in my apartment got extremely better after purchasing this. It’s pretty easy to use after you download the app.

The NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 is very powerful. All too often wireless devices claim to be "The Greatest" or "The Best Ever" and never actually are. I have to say that the NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 actually is as strong as advertised and a breeze to setup.

This came highly recommended and we have a large number of sqft to cover. A mesh system would be the next option for a stronger signal but we can hold of for a bit. from the app you can control whos connected and test speeds which is convenient

So far so good, covers 3 story house and 3000 square foot. Router is located on 2nd floor and to one side of house and there are no dead zones that we have found. Great router and worth spending a little more than I wanted to on a router...

I've been using Netgear routers for years and when it was time to replace my old one this model was placed on sale at Best Buy. Easy hookup and installation with the Genie app I was up in less than ten minutes. My Wi-Fi range is expanded and I'm running at much higher speeds.

A good router, a bit pricey but worthwhile for the wireless signal it provides. Had a weird issue happen right around the time the Netgear Armor trial expired (30 days in) where the router's configuration completely reset itself without explanation. Otherwise, has worked flawlessly with great signal strength and super fast transfer speeds. One thing I do notice is that smart QoS is not always that smart and devices have to be set manually as far as priority. Also, if you set the Wi-Fi to be "smart" and have one SSID for the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands, devices will not always automatically latch on to the best band and I find myself having to rejoin devices to latch on to the 5 Ghz band instead of the 2.4 Ghz band. Overall, a good router, pricey, but stable and reliable.

Honestly got the router to keep my kid from using so much cellular data. Router was easy to set up, and we put it on the second floor. My son can now watch you tube at the newbors house without using any cellular data. I would buy this product again.
