    WIFI channel 2.4 ghz worked well. The 5 ghz channels had poor range and very disappointed in the performance especially for the $249.00 price tag. DO NOT UPGRADE the Firmware. Made unite almost unusable. Had to restore original Factory firmware version.

    Freaking love this router! I know everyone's connection is different. I was getting around 3mbps on my Playstation when downloading games! I purchased this cause I do 99% digital... Anyways my download speed went to 17mbps.

    Had a hard time with setting it up. It wasn't just plug and go, it took several hours to set up and then it did not work for about a week. Had to have someone come in and work on the set up. Once it was working right it was great.

    Was having internet issues on second floor (modem in basement). With this router, internet speed has been excellent. Only issue, if the 5G networks seem to crash from time to time.

    The range is great, not sure if it's my Internet provider or what but I lose Internet every now and then, the only reason I bought this was for range and is really the only thing I can say about it since I don't utilize anything else

    We needed a stronger router for the wireless products we have. As soon as we installed and set this it up everything started working faster. Our Roomba was finally able to be programmed. Great product.

    Bought this router and honestly have no complaints with it. Comes with a booklet that tells you simple how to set it up, if you are still having problems you can also work with it through any mobile device.

    This router doubled the range and usability of the wifi in my house. I have 4 smart phones, 4 smart tvs, 3 laptops, 2 gaming systems and 2 tablets hooked up to this router and I can still stream HD to all at anytime. Very pleased!

    Excellent router. I used this to piggyback off another router and the results have been fantastic. Faster WiFi and a steady signal. Highly recommended due to price, signal strength, and ease of setup.

    This is a good router but the software could be a lot better. I think Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software is a lot better. it allows you to set day and time limits for kids the Nighthawk does not. Also the Linksys has better parental controls built in. If you do not have any kids than the Nighthawk is a great router.
