With 2 5G and a 2.4 band, it has plenty of capacity to keep several devices operating simultaneously. 5G is superb within 30 or so feet, but drops off significantly after that through plaster walls. (not a real surprise) On the other hand, 2.4G works just fine in this situation. The loss of bandwidth is not noticeable. It is not used for 4K, however. Buy this unit at a discount only, not full price. Asus has better value for money imho.
