Inconsistent Speed!

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router thinking I can take advantage of my ISP's gigabit speeds, but it doesn't appear this router is working properly. With connecting a PC directly to the LAN port on the router, I am only getting 350-450Mbps. When I plug directly into my cable modem I get 900Mbps. I tried factory resetting the router and ensuring there are no QoS or Traffic Metering active, and it will give me good speeds (800-900Mbps) for a day or two, then it will go back down to 350-450. Not sure what the problem is, but I shouldn't have these issues with a $280 router.

But realized that our old modem and router couldn't handle all the data our smart house can handle. Everything is wireless here. Installation was a breeze and I love the different Channels it has to allocate the devices based on data and speed it uses. Our wifi is at its best and I'm so glad we upgraded with this product.
